Bronze Medal Play-Off – WA vs Victoria g💛🖤🥉🏑
From the first whistle we were fast, clean, and sharp – yellow to yellow ball movement at its best. Our beautiful connections shone through, and it paid off when Suze threaded a fabulous pass to Mich, who drove into the circle and slotted home our goal. Cue big celebrations! 🎉
But we knew there was still plenty of hockey to play. Transfers and triangles kept flowing, and Juls even tried her hand at being Superwoman with a diving tackle (earning a quick stint on the “naughty chair” 🪑). Despite all our efforts, that elusive second goal didn’t come.
With six minutes left, the Vics pulled their goalie to pile on the pressure – and just to spice it up, C’Mac copped a green card (we’re still checking the ruler on that 5 yards 📏😉). But WA did not fold. Every player ran their heart out, backs strong, mids relentless, strikers fierce.
Then… the final siren. The relief, the joy, the roar – Bronze Medal winners! 🥉💛🖤
