👏 Congratulations Bentleigh Bowls Club!

After a terrific season in Division 4, the team from the Bentleigh Bowling Club finished runners-up to Parkdale in the final. It was a fantastic game and a great achievement to cap off the season.

Even better news – Division 3 awaits next season!

Community Bank Murrumbeena is proud to support the club and celebrate the hard work, teamwork and dedication shown throughout the season. Well done to everyone involved! 🎉

A big weekend in bowls for Bentleigh bowlers, starting with the final of the Proportional Championship. A very tight game between Tony Tes and Robyn, seeing Robyn getting across the line. A big thanks to Ronnie G for being the marker!

Congratulations to our new Women’s Club Champion, Jenny Naylor! Jenny & Taylor Osmond played a great match this afternoon.
A fabulous achievement to make finals in Taylor’s second year of bowls. Some great bowls were put down by both players.

We're calling on clubs to get around your new members and encourage them to take part in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹. 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻!

If you're a newer bowler (or know someone who is), it's time to start thinking pairing up for a team event, or try your hand at Singles. This year's eligibility period is for any bowler who became affilited on or after 1st May, 2023. Tell your mates!! 🙌🏻

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2nds! They’ve beaten Cheltenham yesterday & Moorabbin today to make it to next Saturday’s grand final!!
They’ve also successfully earned a spot in Div3 next year.
Get down to Parkdale next Saturday & show your support. Go Bentleigh 🎉🎉

Congratulations to our new Men’s Club Champion, Dave Willey! Dave & Alan Young played a marathon match in the heat today that could have gone either way with the score 24-24 in the second last end.

A huge crowd turned out to watch a high standard game. Both Alan & Dave played some fabulous bowls. Well done to both of you and thank you to Tony Heath for cooking the sausages
