Another awesome Victorian State Training Day today! 👊

It was fantastic to see members from all of our club locations come together and work towards shared goals: improvement, grading preparation, increasing knowledge, sharing experiences, and most importantly, having fun and smiling along the way! 😃

One of the highlights of the day was having Dr Jacob on hand to support our members, parents, and instructors. Not only did he provide chiropractic adjustments throughout the day, but he also shared valuable education on injury prevention, recovery, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, helped, and contributed to making the day such a positive and productive experience. We look forward to seeing everyone continue their progress and put today’s lessons into action in the dojo!

Members aged 7+ (3–6 year olds are not yet eligible)

Purpose:
Prepare for your next grading by learning requirements, mindset, techniques, drills, and expectations for your belt level in a focused training environment.

⏰ Booking deadline: Thursday 28th May
If you are unable to attend, private sessions are available.

⚠️ Please note:
There will be NO regular Saturday classes on:
• Saturday 30th May
• Saturday 27th June

Great skills, courage and sportsmanship shown at today’s fight competition 👏

It was great to see some entertaining and respectful fights showcasing the improvement, confidence and skills our students have developed over the past 6 months since our last competition.

A huge thank you to all spectators, supporters, referees, judges and cornermen for your help in making the day such a positive experience for everyone involved.

High level knowledge, technical detail and a great atmosphere on the mats tonight as guest instructor Matt Ball, Head Coach of SMAC Gym, took our Muay Thai sessions. 👊🥊

The session explored fundamentals, defensive reactions and counters from kicks, trip and sweep set ups, sparring concepts and more. Beyond the physical side of training, there were also great discussions around fighter psychology, strategy, mindset, and understanding the context of training.
