In our second match of the tournament, the Royal Falcons faced off against the Success Strikers. It wasn’t our day this time, going down by 119 runs. Dipen, Abhi and Kirtan played vital role to fight back.

Friendship Cup Final 🏏

Hard luck to our Royal Falcons, who fought bravely but just fell short in the grand finale. The boys posted a competitive 178/5 in 20 overs with solid contributions from:
🔥 Dipen Gurung – 48 (30)
🔥 Prasun Shrestha – 34 (37)
🔥 Binaya Khadka – 33 (18)

However, MD 8848 CC chased it down in style, finishing at 179/2 in 16 overs, clinching the trophy by 8 wickets.

⭐ Yogen Khatiwada’s 72 (45) and Amrit Yonjan’s 45 (30) made the difference, while Chetan Niroula finished unbeaten on 32 (17).

👉 Despite the result, there are many positives for the Falcons:
✅ Strong batting intent throughout the innings
✅ Balanced contributions from multiple players
✅ Fighting spirit till the very end

The Friendship Series is now tied at 1-1 after a high-octane match.
We posted a strong 134/2 in 15 overs, led by a masterclass from our own:

🔥 Paras Palli – 72 off 51 balls* – calm, composed, and classy! That’s his second consecutive half-century, anchoring the innings beautifully.
💣 Quick-fire support from Dipen Gurung (21 off 10) and Prasun Shrestha (21 off 25) helped us finish strong.

With the ball, our bowlers gave it everything:
🎯 Bijay – 1/9 (tight spell under pressure)
🔥 Sudin – 1/10 (sharp and disciplined)
