The Maiden Gully YCW Eagles Football Netball Club has been formed between YCW Sporting & Social Club and Maiden Gully Junior Football Club in 2017, with both clubs moving to the Marist Maiden Gully facility. This move and alignment will provide a pathway from under 9’s all the way through to senior football in Maiden Gully as well as increasing the range and number of netball teams at Maiden Gully.

Not the results we were hoping for, but plenty to be proud of 🦅

Our 13’s, 17’s and 18’s all gave it a red-hot crack on Grand Final day and fought right until the end.

It wasn’t our day, but making it to the big dance is an achievement in itself. Proud of the effort, commitment and heart shown by all three teams throughout the season.

These two are no strangers to coaching, and together they bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the role.

We’re excited to announce Shannon Bourke as our Under 12s Head Coach for 2027!

Shannon is already a familiar face around Maiden Gully and has built a fantastic rapport with our junior players. His enthusiasm, connection with the kids and willingness to get involved have made him a valued part of our club.

Shannon will be supported by a terrific coaching group in Rob Hutton, Adam Moss and Ian Wardell, bringing together a great mix of experience, energy and familiarity with our players.

We’re excited to welcome Loz back as our B Grade coach for the 2027 season! 💙🤍🧡

Loz did a fantastic job in her first year of coaching, guiding the girls all the way through to the Preliminary Final. Her enthusiasm and commitment has been fantastic, and she’s always keen to get the very best out of the girls while continuing to grow her knowledge and experience as a coach.

We’re thrilled to welcome Wayne back to the Maiden Gully Junior Football Club as our Under 14s Head Coach for season 2027.

Wayne brings an incredible amount of football knowledge and experience to our junior program, with 600+ games of football experience and 11 years of senior coaching. More importantly, Wayne has a genuine passion for developing young footballers and helping them take the next step in their game.

It’s fantastic to have Wayne back involved with our juniors, and we’re really excited about what this group will bring to our Under 14 program in 2027.
