**** VALE KEN LYNCH ****
Hi all, it is with great sadness that I advise long time Bendigo Bombers/Gold club stalwart Ken Lynch has passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Kenny, as he was affectionately known as around the club, dedicated himself as a club volunteer to the various iterations of the Bendigo VFL football and was much loved amongst the players, coaches, support staff and committee alike.
A love for his mighty Essendon Bombers was complimented with his love to see VFL football succeed in Central Victoria. He knew all the boys by name that pulled on a Bendigo Football Club - aka Bendigo Gold jumper either as a Bomber or a Gold, and would always offer the boys words of encouragement at the end of each game, irrespective of the final result.
The following information is provided from Ken's son, Daryl
We share the news that Ken is now at peace.
Ken passed today at at 12.20 pm on Saturday 12th of August, In his family home surrounded by his family and loved ones.
