Bendigo teams are leading the way to the Australian DrillDance Championships to be held at the Silverdome in Launceston on April 20th & 21st. E-J's DrillDance Club is a local Bendigo Branch of DrillDance Australia, formerly the Australian Marching Association. At the Victorian State Championships held in Geelong on Sunday April 7th the club Senior and Junior teams competed in three routines. The senior team E-J Eminence winning 1st Place Technical Drill and the Junior team E-J Emanate in their first year of competition bringing home 1st place Rhythmic Drill and 3rd place Thematic Dance making both teams State Champions. Senior Coach Natalie Pearce also received the State encouragement award which is awarded to the coach that coached and developed their team to a level of advancement.
The club would like to thank their sponsors Maree Edwards MP and Jacinta Allan for their support and are excited to represent Bendigo at the Australian Championships in two weeks time. Intermediates, Seniors & Masters team meeting for the coming season on Monday!!!
This is also for any volunteers and officials that would like to help in any way this season. We are looking for multiple coordinators (chaperones) for several teams as well as people to help us at fundraising events and much more so even if you aren't able to be in a team there is a role for you!
Under 13's and Under 8's are already training and are looking for more members so contact us today for info!
