After a big return to action last weekend, Round 11 of the Champions IGA CVFL is here, with all matches set to be played on Sunday as clubs continue their push towards finals.
UNDER 18s
Echuca United Football Netball Club return home to face Golden Official Golden Square Football & Netball Club in a clash where both sides will be chasing their second win of the season. The Bulldogs broke through for their first victory of 2026 last weekend and will be keen to build momentum.
Castlemaine Football Netball Club faces the challenge of ladder leaders Woorinen Youth Girls. A win for the Magpies would keep them firmly in touch with the Top 4 race as the season enters its crucial stage.
At Malone Park, Marong Football Netball Club hosts White Hills Womens Football in what shapes as one of the matches of the round. The Panthers will be looking to bounce back from defeat, while White Hills arrive full of confidence after a strong win last week.
Strath Storm FNC, fresh from a hard-fought victory in Round 10, welcomes Kangaroo Flat FNCt in another important contest for both clubs.
Meanwhile at the QEO, Sandhurst Football Netball Club takes on Eaglehawk Football Netball Club in a match that could have significant Top 4 implications by the end of the weekend.
SENIORS
Castlemaine and the Wedge-Tailed Eagles Football Club will both be desperate to respond after narrow losses last week. Expect a fierce contest as both clubs look to get back on the winners list.
The QEO will host a blockbuster clash between Sandhurst and Eaglehawk. Sitting third and fourth respectively, both sides are in excellent form after impressive Round 10 victories and will be eager to strengthen their finals credentials.
Bendigo Women's Football Club hosts ladder leaders Golden Square in the final Senior match of the round. The Bulldogs sit a game clear on top of the ladder and continue to set the benchmark in 2026, while Thunder will be looking to cause a major upset on home turf.
