DCRD have had a JAM packed few weeks preparing for our upcoming Statewide Stampede - Victorian Roller Derby Tournament grand final! 💪🏻❤️‍🔥

Today the incredible Sirens travelled up to Bendigo for a friendly match, as they also prepared for Trop Cup. It was a fantastic chance for us to test some solid walls and work on strategy. Our MVPs were

Last night also saw Calamity, Goose, Baggins and Rage join team potluck against Victorian Roller Derby League Thunder for a super intense but fun matchup! We love these opportunities to test our skills against some of the very best! Congrats to Rage for a VERY well earned MVP blocker.

And lastly a late shoutout to all our members and guests who travelled to Bendigo a week ago to join us for our home game, we appreciate our friends from Ballarat Roller Derby League, North East Roller Derby 🤓NERD🤓 and across the state joining in! Thanks again guys! 💚💜

Chikos are in the GRAND FINAL! 🎉💪🏻

We had an absolute banger of a match today against the mighty Banshees from South Sea Roller Derby! With only 7 points in it at half time, both teams left it all out of the track, and had an absolute ball doing it. Thank you once again Banshees for the fabulous game. Chikos took the win 192-140 and are into the grand final to defend our title and will face Kingston City Rollers!🩷

The BIGGEST congratulations to our incredible skaters Rainbow Smash and Manic Panic for being selected for TEAM AUSTRALIA! 💚💛🎉
Smash has been selected on the femme team, and Manic will be skating on the open team.

We cannot overstate how proud we are of them both and also of fellow teammate BeeSting for the hard work all three put in to prepare for tryouts. We cannot wait to cheer you on!

It's SEMI FINALS TIME! 🎉💪

Our Chikos are ready for the challenge posed to us by the fearsome (yet fun) crew from South Sea Roller Derby Banshees! 😍 We are so excited to have the best time on track and work hard as a team.

Plus, Dragon City will be represented as officials and in the commentary booth over the course of the day.

Buckle up, because this will be a long one!

This weekend, we travelled all the way up to Mildura Roller Derby League for FOUR games of Roller Derby! We’d like to take the time now to thank Mildura for being such INCREDIBLE hosts, we are so thrilled we could finally travel your way and support you! 😘🎉

First up, Sassy B and Slambulance took on a juniors mod-con game. Everyone was impressed by the quality of the gameplay and the control exhibited, particularly by L2 skaters playing down to L1. Both Sassy B and Slambulance picked up an MVP for their efforts, well done! 💪🏻

Next up, our Steam Rollers took to the track for the first time this year! Taking on a fierce but friendly potluck team, and supported by 3 incredible guests (Swoop, Viper and Banshee), Steam Rollers took a convincing win 268-108. Our MVPs were
❤️🤍 Calamity, Damage Patch Doll and Killbo Baggins
🖤💜Pins & Needles, Panic and Wrecking Belle.

Next up, our senior Mod-Con supportstars hit the track for an absolute NAILBITER with TWO overtime jams! It was well played by all, including our members Peaches & Scream, Cross Stitcher and Library Fine.
Peaches and Library also picked up some well deserved MVP awards! ❤️‍🔥

Finally, our main event was our Chiko Rollers taking on the Homicidolls from Murder City Roller Derby! We had the BEST time on track with this team full of incredible people. With both teams having low numbers, this was an action packed fight to the finish! Chikos, however, came away with a decisive win 383 - 96.
