Control is not only about the physical, but also emotional. It’s not about winning or losing, but about learning discipline, respect, and perseverance through every exchange—and learning to stay composed, patient, and determined even when facing a stronger opponent. Watching them grow, step by step, is something really special.👊

Hello everyone,

For the past five years, HH Kung Fu Club has been training and sharing Chinese Kung Fu culture in Bendigo. We feel incredibly grateful to have trained at the BCA Bendigo Chinese Association 大金山中華公會training hall, a place with such rich Chinese cultural heritage, and we truly appreciate their support over the years.

As our club and the BCA Lion Dance Team continue to grow, the current training space has gradually become quite crowded for everyone. For now, our classes will continue at BCA, while we have also started exploring options for an additional long-term training venue in Bendigo.

Our club now has many local children and families involved, and we hope to continue providing a safe and positive place for students to train.

We are currently looking for a community hall, warehouse, sports hall, or large indoor space that could accommodate our weekly training.

Training times needed:

Saturday
8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Sunday
8:30 am – 10:00 am

Our Junior C class is already full, and we still have new students hoping to join. Because of this, we will most likely open a new Junior D class:

Sunday
10:00 am – 11:30 am

If anyone knows of a suitable venue or space in Bendigo, we would be incredibly grateful for your suggestions. Please feel free to comment, message us, or share this post so more people in the community can help us find a new training home.

Bendigo Easter Festival I Heart Bendigo HH KUNG FU CLUB

We would like to sincerely thank BCA Bendigo Chinese Association 大金山中華公會for organising such a wonderful festival year after year, and all the team members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event possible.

It was truly inspiring to once again see so many outstanding dragon and lion dance teams from across Australia gathering in Bendigo to share the stage and celebrate this vibrant tradition together.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your continued support and trust. We are also deeply grateful to our amazing volunteer parents for your time, hard work and cooperation.

A special thank you to Quyen for dedicating so much time and effort to coordinating and managing the program. And Tina, David, Lucy, Jiahong, Zexuan, photographer friends from Melbourne and everyone who supported us!

A warm thank you to the HHKFC Melbourne branch students and parents who travelled all the way to Bendigo to support and perform — your dedication and effort are greatly appreciated! James, Jasper, Alex, Chenchen and Jeremy, thanks for sharing your Kung Fu spirit and skills to the public!

Of course, we are incredibly proud all of our Kung Fu kids and kidults, whose hard work, practice and passion helped creatBendigo Easter Festival at the Bendigo Easter Festival 2026.

Hello everyone,

Following the joyful celebrations of Chinese New Year, we are excited to welcome the annual Easter Festival.

This year we will be performing in the Awakening of the Dragon Program which is organized by the historic Bendigo Chinese Association & the Golden Dragon Museum, we warmly invite everyone to come and enjoy the performances with us. HH Kung Fu club’s performing time is:
