HH KUNG FU CLUB HH Kung Fu Club is offering traditional Chinese Martial Arts training. Try 1st class for Free! HH KUNG FU CLUB offers traditional Chinese martial arts training.

Our training program focuses on both the internal and external well-being of our students. Internal training aims to build mental strength and self-confidence, sharpen the will, and achieve inner balance. External training seeks to develop physical strength by learning different martial arts forms, applications and self-defence skills.

Yesterday, Liu Shifu was honoured to serve as the Wushu Head Judge at Wushu Taichi Qigong Australia WTQA 2026, witnessing an inspiring celebration of Chinese martial arts.

So many outstanding athletes brought passion, focus and skill to the competition floor. The Melbourne University Wushu Kung Fu Team was particularly impressive — their spirit, technique, power and presence were truly remarkable! 👏

Great performances are built on passion, perseverance and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

May more young people discover the beauty of Wushu Kung Fu, embrace its spirit.

Special Notice | Class Time Adjustment This Saturday

To honour Russell Jack AM and show our respect for his State Funeral taking place at Ulumbarra Theatre at 11:00am this Saturday, 29 August, our class times will be adjusted as follows:

👉Junior A, Junior B, Junior C & Adults
➡️ 8:00 am – 10:30 am

Russell Jack AM made an extraordinary and lasting contribution to Bendigo’s history, Chinese culture and our multicultural community over many decades. As part of Bendigo’s Chinese community, we would like to show our respect and remembrance by adjusting our training schedule around the State Funeral.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. For anyone who is unable to attend the training due to the schedule change, the class fee can either be refunded or transferred to the next term.

🕊️ State Funeral | Attendance & Dress Code

If any HH KUNG FU CLUB members, parents or friends would like to attend Russell Jack AM’s State Funeral / Service, please send me a private message with your name so we can keep track of attendance and provide the numbers to the family.

👔 Dress Code:
Black, grey, navy or other subdued and muted colours are recommended. Formal mourning attire is welcome, but there is no need to dress entirely in black.

If you are attending in your HH KUNG FU CLUB training uniform, please make sure to wear a dark-coloured jacket or outer layer over your uniform as a sign of respect for the service, Russell and his family.

We also kindly ask everyone to remain quiet, respectful and appropriately dressed, and to follow any instructions from the organisers and family on the day.

We were deeply saddened to recently learn of the passing of Russell Jack AM.

Although we have only recently come to learn more about Russell’s remarkable life and his extraordinary contribution to Bendigo, we are deeply moved by his legacy and saddened by the loss of such a remarkable person.

As a Kung Fu school and part of Bendigo’s Chinese cultural community, we feel a profound sense of loss at the passing of such a respected pioneer and elder.

Russell devoted his life to preserving and sharing Bendigo’s Chinese heritage, culture and history. As the founder of the Golden Dragon Museum and a passionate advocate for cultural preservation, his vision and dedication have left a lasting legacy for Bendigo and generations to come.

May he rest in peace, and may the culture, history and traditions he worked so tirelessly to preserve continue to live on.

📢 Friendly Reminder | 友情提醒

🎈Starting today, all classes will be held at our new training venue — the outdoor basketball court at Bendigo Secondary Senior College (next to the Ulumbarra Theatre).

Before we begin this new chapter, we would like to sincerely thank BCA for the incredible support over the past five years.
This venue has been a very special place for our club, and while we feel sad to leave, we are also excited about the new opportunities ahead.

With everyone’s continued support, we hope to keep growing together and continue sharing the beauty of Chinese culture, martial arts, discipline, and positive values with our local community.

Please remember:
💧 Bring a full water bottle (a larger one is recommended).
🧥 Dress warmly — the weather is getting colder, so please wear enough layers, especially before and after training.
🚻 Classes run for approximately 1.5–2 hours. Students may use the restroom if needed, but we kindly ask everyone to go before class whenever possible to minimise interruptions.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We hope everyone settles into our new training environment quickly.

New venue, same spirit. Let’s keep training hard, growing stronger, and bringing the best of Kung Fu spirit to our community together! 💪✊

在开启新的篇章之前，我们想衷心感谢 BCA 在过去五年里对 HH Kung Fu Club 的支持与帮助。

这里承载了我们许多美好的回忆，也是武馆成长的重要见证。虽然即将离开这个熟悉的场地，心中有些不舍，但我们也期待新的开始，迎接更多的可能。

未来，希望在大家的支持与陪伴下，我们继续努力成长，将中华武术精神、中华文化的魅力以及积极向上的价值观带给更多社区朋友。

请大家记得：

💧 带好水杯，建议使用容量较大的水杯，并提前装满水。

🧥 注意保暖，天气逐渐变冷，请穿足够的衣服，训练前后尤其要注意添衣。

🚻 每节课约1.5–2小时，课程期间可以上洗手间，但希望大家尽量在来上课前先去，减少中途离开对自己和课堂的影响。

感谢大家一直以来的理解、支持与配合！希望大家都能尽快适应新的训练环境。

新场地，新起点；不变的是我们的热爱、坚持与传承！让我们继续一起努力，共同成长，把美好的中华文化带给社区！✊

力量在增长，分寸也在学习。分寸，不只是对身体、拳脚的控制，更是对局势与节奏，心态与精神的把握。不是为了输赢，而是在一次次碰撞中，学会控制、尊重和坚持；学会在面对强敌时，依然坚定、冷静、有耐心。看他们慢慢长大，其实真挺有意思。😄—Strength is growing, and so is control. Control is not only about the physical, but also emotional. It’s not about winning or losing, but about learning discipline, respect, and perseverance through every exchange—and learning to stay composed, patient, and determined even when facing a stronger opponent. Watching them grow, step by step, is something really special.👊

We would like to sincerely thank BCA Bendigo Chinese Association 大金山中華公會for organising such a wonderful festival year after year, and all the team members who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event possible.

It was truly inspiring to once again see so many outstanding dragon and lion dance teams from across Australia gathering in Bendigo to share the stage and celebrate this vibrant tradition together.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents for your continued support and trust. We are also deeply grateful to our amazing volunteer parents for your time, hard work and cooperation.

A special thank you to Quyen for dedicating so much time and effort to coordinating and managing the program. And Tina, David, Lucy, Jiahong, Zexuan, photographer friends from Melbourne and everyone who supported us!

A warm thank you to the HHKFC Melbourne branch students and parents who travelled all the way to Bendigo to support and perform — your dedication and effort are greatly appreciated! James, Jasper, Alex, Chenchen and Jeremy, thanks for sharing your Kung Fu spirit and skills to the public!
