Pretty stoked to supply Triathlon Australia with these, for more easily transported pre-event warm-up bikes. The SandSMachine frame couplers were a key feature, enabling each bike to be packed into a maximum-airline-standard-size suitcase for ease of airline and vehicle transport. A blast from the past during the first Cross Country race of the Mountainbike National Series in 1992 on a very technical course in Canberra. I was able to lead for all but the last lap on a frame, suspension fork, stem and bar-ends which were all of my making. I'd won the Downhill race the day before on the same bike, which was still possible then.

This experience is still useful in my framebuilding; frame tubing stiffness, chainstay length, stiffness versus suppleness, bottom-bracket height.
