Benaraby Dragway (also known as the Central Queensland Dragway Association Inc or CQDRA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer run organisation that was established in 1980. Our Mission:
Benaraby Dragway exists to promote drag racing and other forms of motorsport by providing regular opportunities for safe, controlled and sportsmanlike competition. As a community-based not-for-profit organisation, we aim
to provide a welcoming environment for competitors, volunteers, families and spectators while creating opportunities for participation, volunteering and community connection within the Gladstone Region. Our Long-Term Vision:
Our long-term vision is to keep regional motorsport, particularly drag racing, alive and thriving in the Gladstone Region. We aspire for Benaraby Dragway to be recognised as Queenslandโs leading regional drag racing facility and as a valued community asset that attracts competitors and visitors to the region, contributes to its liveability and vibrancy, supports local organisations and businesses, and gives back to the community that supports us.
