Friends and Fellow Grapplers:
Next weekend (Sat August 5th 11am to 3pm), we are going to run a seminar/gathering to raise funds for Icaro (BJJ Black Belt) and his family who are dealing with the impact of cancer. They have a gofundme page, and the idea is that we get together and share knowledge and time, in return for donations to the gofundme page. At the time of writing this, they are at around $20,000 of $30,000. We would like to smash through this target as a community.

For this special event we will have a number of different coaches and open mat at Firm Foundations BJJ, South Valley Baptist Church Hall. There will be other seminars running at other locations around the country, and the idea is that we all come together as a community to support this cause.

Your entry to the seminar will be to either show proof of your donation at the door, or to bring cash, and we can donate on your behalf.
