🎉 Birthday Celebrations 🎉

Benalla Running Group would like to wish Gordon a very happy 80th birthday!!

Whether he likes it or not, Gordon is quite the inspiration to many of our runners, and we wish him well as he trains for a half marathon in a couple of months time.

Gordon marked his birthday with a regular Wednesday morning run, followed by a birthday cake and coffee with the BRG crew 🎂☕

We love having you in our running group, Gordon. A friend to all, and we hope to have you running with us for a whole lot longer yet!!

🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻 Another successful Wangaratta Marathon for BRG 🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️

Congratulations to all who took part in yesterday's Wangaratta Marathon and Fun Run. BRG was represented across the 5km, 10km, half marathon and full marathon events.

Lots of fun was had, with some great personal efforts, and we can't wait to go again next year!

Thank you, Ray White Benalla!

Recently both Gen, and Jacqui and Josh sold their houses with Peter and Shayne at Ray White. In doing so they locked in $750 for Benalla Running Group 💵

This money will go a long way towards growing our club. If you are planning to sell your home, be sure to ask about Ray White's community grants 😀

🍷 Vineyards Twilight Running Festival🍷

5 members from BRG travelled to Brown Brothers Winery at Milawa yesterday for the Vineyards Twilight run.

We were greeted by 38° heat 🥵, but vibes were high and the atmosphere was great!

Congratulations to Adrian for tackling the 5km run, and Jake, Katie, Oscar and Josh for taking on the half marathon.

Special shout out to Jake for finishing 2nd in the half with a time of 1:23:14! Brilliant effort, mate!

🌄 Sunday Trails 🌄

Beautiful views awaited us atop The Paps this morning, but we had to tackle some decent inclines to get there!

This morning, for our first trail run of the year, we headed to the Warby Ranges, completing a 9km loop from Wenhams Camp taking in Kwat Kwat Lookout.

Plenty of single trail, brilliant views and coffee with mates back in Glenrowan. A perfect Sunday morning!
