🌞 Sunday Reef Hills Run 🌞

12 BRG members gathered at the entrance to the Reef Hills this morning for a lovely sunny run on the trails.

Some ran 14km, some ran 9.5km, and some went for a walk, but everyone came back smiling. We could feel Spring just around the corner!

What a beautiful day in the Warby Ranges for another instalment of the Kwat Kwat Trail Run!

We had members tackle the 6km, 12km and 25km courses. Congratulations to all involved 👏👏👏

Last weekend was a big one for Benalla Running Group!

Congratulations to James for completing a very impressive 105km at You Yangs Trail Running Festival (and backing it up with the regular Monday night run!). He thanked Bre and the kids for their support, and Amy for crewing and pacing him to the finish line.

Well done to Katie for ticking off another half marathon at Run Camden. Her and Ken also volunteered their time at Cowpasture Reserve Parkrun on Saturday morning.

Alyce and Jake smashed out a halfa at Run Melbourne, while Adrian cruised home in the 10k. Fantastic work, guys!

Meanwhile, some other BRGers joined Wangaratta Runners for a 10km loop from Wenhams Camp, taking in Kwat Kwat Lookout. This was the first time BRG and Wang Runners had caught up for a trail run, but will hopefully be the first of many.

🎉 Birthday Celebrations 🎉

Benalla Running Group would like to wish Gordon a very happy 80th birthday!!

Whether he likes it or not, Gordon is quite the inspiration to many of our runners, and we wish him well as he trains for a half marathon in a couple of months time.

Gordon marked his birthday with a regular Wednesday morning run, followed by a birthday cake and coffee with the BRG crew 🎂☕

We love having you in our running group, Gordon. A friend to all, and we hope to have you running with us for a whole lot longer yet!!
