I’m incredibly proud to share that I get to take home the Australian Ladies Whipcracking Title for the third year in a row, and my fifth Australian Championship overall. I was also fortunate enough to come away with 3rd place in the World Bullock Whip Competition, competing alongside men and women of all ages.
It's an honour to have represented East Gippsland and Victoria at the 2026 AWPA Australian Whipcracking Championships.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported me along the way, especially my Mum and Connor, who both put in countless hours supporting me, helping me practise in the months leading up to the Championships, and being there for me on the day. I certainly couldn’t have done it without you.
This year’s win is especially dedicated to Colin Erbacher🕊. I wish more than anything that he could have been there to see it. Thankfully, I had his beautiful family there beside me when he couldn’t be. ❤️
A special thank you also to Bernadette Bulmer for trusting me with the keys to the Lindenow Hall. Those hours I could get in after work were magic! Having somewhere to practise with good lighting and, most importantly, dry whips made such a difference.
Thank you to the sponsors of the event:
R M Williams, Packer Leather and Hodge Transport, as well as our wonderful host, The EKKA Show, who celebrated their 150th year.
Also, to the AWPA committee for organising the event and for providing a place for the sport of whipcracking to be properly showcased.
Well done to all competitors on the day, the level of expertise shown over all categories have been brought to new heights through individual dedication. It's an honour to compete alongside you all.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has encouraged, supported, and backed me over the years. It means more than I can say. ❤️
Love, Em x
