Bellendena Ski Club The Club Bellendena Ski Club was founded in 1975. In winter come and see a snowy wonderland which is always fun for people of all ages.

It boasts accommodation for up to 50 people, including two family rooms, a large living/dining area with a central wood fire and double kitchen and a dry room for the winter months. Ben Lomond is without mains power and to combat this, the club has installed a full solar lighting system throughout and hot water is provided by the wood fire. The lodge is nestled on the lower side of the village str

eet and overlooks the valley south to Fingal and North to Jacobs Ladder. In summer the mountain is full of wildlife including wallabies, wombats and rare quolls whilst flora summer flowers appear across the national park. Relax by the fire with a good book, explore the thousands of hectares of the national park on foot or tackle the slopes and all this is only a short trip from Launceston. There’s something magical about seeing Ben Lomond through a child’s eyes.

The excitement of seeing snow for the first time, racing down a toboggan run, building snowmen, learning the ropes on the slopes, or simply warming up with a hot chocolate after a day outdoors.

At Bellendena Ski Club, families come together to slow down, switch off from busy schedules and enjoy quality time on the mountain. Our welcoming lodge is the perfect base for creating those winter traditions your kids will remember for years to come.

Whether you're introducing little ones to the snow or continuing a family tradition, Bellendena is a place where lifelong memories begin.

A huge thank you to Rhys at Premium Firewood for supplying 15m2 of top-quality seasoned firewood with only a few days' notice to the lodge. Our members worked during the working bee on Saturday to stack the wood, and it's already bringing warmth to those staying in the lodge. If you're looking for top quality firewood you can't go past Rhys! Thanks mate! 🔥 🪵

Snow Races are confirmed for Saturday 30 August!!!

Noting this confirmation we are once again calling on to REGISTRATIONS to be made ONLINE ASAP to assist with preparations on the day. Competitors need to register on Snow Racer and also on the races website in accordance with the flyer attached. Racing is open to ALL Ages including Adults.

***You may choose to register online and pay by card on the day with no late fee***
