Geelong Gaels GAA Club Geelong GAA club players and fans forum. We are a very friendly family club who wish to promote Gaelic Games for all in the Geelong region.

Now in our 6th year of the Geelong Gaels we provide Gaelic Football and Hurling for kids aged 6 - 15 and also Gaelic Football and Hurling for adults. Our youth development program runs through the summer months with training on Sundays and our adult section is much the same. For any enquires please text the page or email us through our website.

Our Hurlers take to the field again tomorrow as we take on St Kevin's GAA Melbourne in our annual National Celtic Festival Australia Official match in Portarlington.

In a great addition we’ll see our Camogie team also take to the field to play a match against St. Kevin’s as well.

It’s sure to be fantastic day with the weather also looking great. Please see the attached poster for more information.

Huge congratulations to our “12 Apostles” who on Saturday won the Queensland Gaelic Football & Hurling Association Masters 7s in Brisbane.

The boys won two and lost one group game but luck was on our side in the final as we won the game on penalties after a late normal time goal against Harps earned us a draw.

We’d like to thank Brendan and his team plus all the clubs who played in a well organised competition.

We’re looking for to next year already.

Tomorrow sees the Gaels venture into a new world as we send a masters team up to Brisbane to play in an over 35s tournament. It’s fantastic to see lads still actively playing at present and also great to see those legends who’ve stopped playing pull the blue and white on again.

It was heartbreak for our lads yesterday as they were beaten in the league final by a point to St Kevin's GAA Melbourne.

Our boys showed great heart and determination to never say die and gave their all right up to the final whistle.

Congratulations to Kevin’s on a great league campaign and we look forward to any potential Championship encounter.

Our lads travel up to Gaelic Park on Sunday to play in our first ever Football League final.

We take on St. Kevin’s after beating Pearses by 1 point last Saturday in Geelong.

Tomorrow see us host another double header as we host the Gaelic Games Victoria Men’s Junior league semi-finals

Plan of action is

Geelong v Padraig Pearses GAC at 2pm

St Kevin's GAA Melbourne v Young Melbourne GAA at 3:30pm

We hope to see as many people there as possible to cheer on our lads.

Another huge weekend coming up for the Gaels. On Saturday we take on Young Melbourne in the Men’s Junior League and our Women’s team will also take on Young Melbourne in a Challenge match.

Our first Men’s football home game of the year is this Saturday at Hurst.

Please get down to support the boys as they take on St.Kevins. Pearses also take on Young Melbourne in the days other game.

2 league games 2 draws for our adult football men’s team.

In what was a fantastic game of football we shared the spoils with Padraig Pearses GAC. Our lads were 7 points down at halftime but dug deep in the second half to salvage a point.

2 home games in a row after Easter now awaits the boys.

We wish Pearses player Jason Hogan a speedy recovery after the injury he suffered on Sunday.
