That’s a wrap on another great season of junior tennis at GLTC! Join us at the club to celebrate the season, thank our coaches and volunteers, and enjoy a snag or two.

🎾 GLTC Junior Development Series is Here! 🎾

Calling all junior players and families — our first Geelong Lawn Tennis Club Junior Development Series (JDS) Tournament for the year is coming up, and we’d love to see our young players involved!

The JDS will continue on the same Sunday each month, providing a fantastic opportunity for juniors to:
✅ Build match confidence
✅ Develop competitive skills
✅ Meet other players
✅ Have fun in a supportive environment

Events include:

🎾 Green Ball

This is a great pathway for juniors looking to improve their tennis and gain valuable match experience alongside Adam and the GLTC coaching team.

🎾 Major scarifying works underway 🎾

A huge thank you to Matt Dowling from Statewide Turf for his expertise and hard work. Matt brings world-class experience to the job, having previously worked at Wimbledon — one of the most iconic grass court venues in the world.

These works are an important part of maintaining healthy turf, improving surface quality, and ensuring our courts continue to perform at the highest standard for members and players alike.

The attention to detail and professionalism shown throughout the process has been outstanding.

🎾 GLTC Juniors — Ready for Your Next Tournament? 🎾

Entries are now open for the next UTR Tournament at Drysdale Tennis Club on Sunday, 31 May 2026, with entries closing Thursday, 28 May 2026.

UTR events are a fantastic way for our juniors to gain match experience, improve their game, and compete against players of a similar level in a fun and supportive environment.
