The Grappler Race Alloy e*spec Enduro Wheels are engineered specifically for the rigors of full-power e-bike riding on aggressive terrain. Refined over multiple World Cup racing seasons, they are up to 228% stronger than earlier e*spec Plus models. They offer the perfect balance between responsiveness, precision, comfort, and increased durability at an incredible value.

The welded 6069 aluminum rims with 30mm inner width have ample lateral stability but with a low profile height for frontal compliance, reduced fatigue, and increased traction. The low rim profile height and double-butted spokes make for a responsive and dynamic ride. The e*spec-specific rims are also reinforced over the analog version to support heavier full-power e-bikes.

The unique e*spec rear hub utilizes an oversized hub shell, large 6808 bearings, a steel axle, and 32 spokes, allowing it to withstand the higher drive torque and bike weight that e-bikes entail. These features also provide longer bearing life and better freehub sealing. The freehub has 6 degrees of engagement, striking the perfect balance between quick response and pedal kickback reduction.

Been flat out these last few months, but I managed to sneak in this custom Norco Search flat bar gravel bike build along the way.

This freshly power coated frame came in this week. The coaters had not done a great job at taping up which clogged the bottom bracket threads. We were able to sort it out by chasing the threads with our specialist tools, and face the edges to allow the bottom bracket to align straight, taking unnecessary load off the bearings thus prolonging their service life.
Installed the bottom bracket with Juice L***s Aluminium Anti seize, to stop the creaks and make disassembly easier down the track.
