Finals Update – Our Youth Squads Shine in 2026
It’s been a huge season across our youth boys and girls programs, with every team showing resilience, growth and a genuine love for the game. This Sunday 6 September is our Boys Teams Grand Final Day!
Last week, our Under 14 girls set the tone, capping off an outstanding undefeated season by claiming the 2026 premiership 🏆
To have five out of our seven youth teams reach a Grand Final in 2026 in extraordinary achievement and a testament to the talent, commitment and culture that exists at our club 🦘

🔴⚪The Under 13 Boys White in their first year in the youth section with a large squad to manage, the boys adapted quickly to top‑division football and the motivation of playing finals. With new players joining and expectations rising, they embraced the challenge. They delivered an outstanding season, finishing on top of the ladder with only two losses. Combined with their speed, skill and teamwork, they’re well positioned for a strong finals campaign.🔴⚪
🔴⚪The Under 14 Boys began the year under pressure, losing several players from last season and welcoming new ones. Their opening game brought a major setback when a serious injury occurred in the first minutes, requiring a coach to leave for hospital with his son. It was a tough start, but the boys rallied and built a strong, united team culture and they stayed strong and consistent. They finished equal on wins and losses with two other teams and secured 3rd place on the ladder.🔴⚪
🔴⚪The Under 15 Boys after a demanding preseason, entered the year fit, focused and determined. Even with constant rotation and changing combinations, they maintained strong cohesion and played high‑quality football throughout the season. Their only loss came against last year’s premiers, and they finished the home‑and‑away rounds on top of the ladder, earning a well‑deserved minor premiership.🔴⚪
🔴⚪The Under 16 Boys have faced one of the most challenging seasons of any group, with players regularly rotating between U18s and U16s. Week to week, the team rarely looked the same but their commitment never wavered. Their adaptability, effort and passion for their teammates has been outstanding. Despite the constant changes, they pushed through and earned a well‑deserved finals berth, finishing 3rd on the ladder.🔴⚪
From our youngest players right through to our senior teams, the future of Clarence Football Club has never looked brighter.
These achievements don't happen by accident. A huge congratulations goes out to our players, coaches, team managers, volunteers and families who have invested so much into the season and helped create an environment where our young Roos can thrive.
