🎣🔥 FLATHEAD ARE ON THE CHEW! 🔥🎣

We keep getting asked, “Are people really catching fish?” The answer is a massive YES! 💯

Lilly, Tommy and Noah have been bringing in some cracking flathead, and plenty of others are also picking up whiting right near the shop. 🎣

The fishing has been red hot lately. Low tide has been producing, the incoming tide has been producing, and honestly, it feels like there’s always a good time to catch a flatty at the moment! 🙌

School holidays are here, so grab the kids and get down to Bellara for a fish. 🎣☀️

Soft plastics have been the lure of choice, with the S Tackle prawns absolutely doing the damage. The kids were loving using them today and the fish certainly agreed! 🦐🔥

How good is Bellara at Bribie! 🎣🔥

The Bellara Boat Ramp has become a proper flathead hotspot lately. Check out these legends who picked up a great feed and are taking it back to their mob for a classic flathead fish and chips dinner tonight! 🐟🍟

A reminder that catch and release is awesome, but keeping a few fish for a feed is fine too — just take what you need and leave plenty for tomorrow. 👍

It’s all about getting outdoors, having a good time, and enjoying what the ocean has to offer.

One thing we’ve noticed lately is we’re having to clean up the pontoon more than usual. Come on, legends — do the right thing. It’s not hard. If you see a bit of rubbish, don’t just walk past it. Pick it up and help keep Bribie looking the way it should. 👌

Just look at the incredible wildlife we get to share this place with, including these beautiful pelicans. 🦤 They don’t need human laziness creating problems for them or the marine environment.

Leave only footprints, take only memories, and maybe a couple of flathead for dinner. 🎣🍟

Nothing beats a sunrise at Woorim Beach. 🌅🎣

The best part of the day has to be those first few moments when the sun peeks over the horizon, the beach is quiet, and the world seems to slow down for a little while.

Watching a sunrise or sunset isn’t just beautiful—it can help reduce stress, improve your mood, and give you a chance to reset and appreciate the simple things in life. Add in some fresh sea air and you’ve got the perfect start to the day.

And for us fishos, sunrise and sunset are often the prime fishing times! 🌊🐟 Many species become more active in the low light, making those golden hours some of the best times to wet a line.

So next time you’re heading down to watch the sunrise, do yourself a favour and throw a fishing rod in the car. You never know what might be waiting just beyond the shore.
