Hey fam,
It’s an understatement to say the last couple of years have been stressful.
After numerous lockdowns and sporatic re openings, it finally looks like we will soon be getting back to some sort of normalcy.
Over the last few months, I have been working to bring something new to what we already offer by building the 134 jaffle bar. Not only to give us something fun to do but to ensure I can re pay the graciousness my landlord has shown since day one of the first lockdown.
I am broken to let you all know that although I have exhausted all options, it is no longer feasible for me to keep the doors open at First Train Fitness.
Despite my best efforts, I need to look at other options to achieve these goals.
I’m not saying First Train Fitness will never open again. I just need to make some changes to ensure I make it through the next few months.
To the amazing trainers, who have shown a support I have not seen in any venue I have ever operated, I have nothing but respect and gratitude.
I am hoping the community we have already built will continue to support these amazing humans in their future fitness endeavours.
To my amazing sister Michelle & brother husband Macca. You have given more to me in support, understanding and counselling than I could ever have imagined. I will always try but can never repay what you have done for my life, both professionally & personally.
And to you all, the family that have shown unwavering support through every up and down I have dealt with since day one, my heart breaks to be having to pen these words.
Even more so that I’ve been able to make it this far since the start of cuntrona virus (think I spelt that right?) to unfortunately stumble at this final hurdle.
Please know I have tried. And although heartbroken, will put on my big girl pants and build back bigger and better.
With all my love and gratitude,
Shane x
