Tonight is the last game of social soccer at St John’s Grammar (Snr) before we break for Christmas. 7pm-8.30pm

We are only days away from our second birthday.🎁 In that time the group has moved from an uneven grass pitch, marked with cones and no nets to a proper artificial pitch, permanently marked and ready for any weather, netted goals and lights. We have goalie gloves and quality soccer balls.

But it’s so much more than that. It promotes physical activity for over 30’s in our community, fills the gap of non competitive adult sport, exercise, social activity and building community ties.

We welcome anyone over 30, male or female, any skill level. We play for fun, not sheep stations.

If you want to come out and play, feel free. There’s a small fee to cover pitch hire and equipment costs

We return early next year and play all throughout the whole year. We have a great, accommodating group of people.

Over 30 and looking to get fit whilst having fun, and being able to socialise at the same time? We play Wednesday nights at St John’s Grammar school, Belair. (Times vary slightly during the year). Currently 7-8.30pm. No sheep stations have been won or lost, but everyone seems to leave happy. Small fee to cover equipment and pitch hire.

If we’re going to play, it’s important to have the right equipment. Good quality soccer balls, great pitch and goalkeeper gloves. I purchased Reusch gloves with finger support today.

I’m feeling I couldn’t be part of a better group. If you are over 30, in need of social interaction or just want to get/keep fit in non competitive social fun, please reach out. Very low cost and no commitment required.

Played on Astro turf, we run a low cost, non profit, social soccer game every week for over 30 year olds. Any gender and any skill level. Come out and just have fun in a no judgment environment. Want to get fit whilst socialising with a great group of people? Want a run without realising you are actually running? Why not play in our less than competitive social soccer game every Wednesday between 7.30pm and 8.30 pm at St John’s. Play in a fun, not overly fast but fun game. No experience necessary, just play to your own level. Non judgemental, open to men and women over 30 years old, with exclusion zone for keeper safety. We play on a premium pitch to reduce injuries, under lights. No ongoing commitment necessary, play when you want.

Where else can you get this kind of fun? No commitment and great people! And it’s cheap too. $10 rego and $5 a game. This not for profit community sport is an all year round activity.

We especially encourage female players.

Our main sponsor is David and Sarah Smith, Tanner Real Estate, Blackwood. No profit is made by the group, the small fee pays for pitch and lighting hire as well as equipment (balls, gloves, pumps, ice packs, etc)

What are you waiting for? Join this community sport. You seriously don’t need to be an athlete. Come try and find out for yourself! Walk, run, jog. It’s up to you!

Due to kids soccer season starting we have found our attendance at 6.30pm games is dropping off. Therefore this month (starting tonight) we will be playing 7pm until 8pm. From next month after day light savings we move to 7.30pm to 8.30pm under lights. Hope to see you there
