A massive shout out to our Bega Devils representative players who train week in, week out and proudly represent the Far South Coast at championship tournaments throughout the year.
⚽ U12 girls - Issy & Jossie
⚽ Under 13 Boys – Reuben, Ollie, Cooper, Callan & Flynn
⚽ Under 14 Girls – Lola, Isla, Charlie & Alice
⚽ Under 14 Boys – Charlie, Leroy, Aidan, Alex, Natek, Max, Ryan, Eddie & Hamish
⚽ Under 16 Boys – Marcus
Recently, the players competed at the Southern Branch Championships in Goulburn back in April and again in Nowra earlier this month.
Playing with heart, determination and fantastic teamwork throughout both tournaments saw incredible results across all teams, with the U12 girls, U13 Boys and U14 Girls crowned Southern Branch Champions! 🏆 The U14 Boys also had a fantastic tournament finishing 3rd overall, while the U16 Boys finished runners-up in a brilliant effort against strong competition.
A special mention must also go to our U14 Girls players who stepped up to also play for the U16 Girls team when needed throughout the championships, showing incredible commitment, versatility and team spirit.
Adding to the success, Cooper from the U13 Boys team was awarded Player of the Tournament, a well-deserved achievement for a player who gives his all every time he steps onto the field.
A huge thank you to the Association and the coaches of these amazing young teams who dedicate countless hours to nurturing the next generation of players in our region.
And finally, a massive thank you to all the players’ parents and carers. Between club football during winter, year-round representative training commitments and travelling across the state for tournaments, your dedication and support does not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do to help these players chase their dreams and compete with the best NSW has to offer.
