It’s Nationals week!

Though the competition may look a little different, I am so excited my Cheerfit teams can be a part of it!! After what has been the most challenging cheer season to date, this week will be an emotional one.

Due to the difficulties faced this year because of covid-19 I have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close Cheerfit QLD after Nationals.

It has been an amazing 11 years!!

To all my past and present athletes, parents and supporters I will miss you more than you will ever know. It has been my pleasure to be a part of your lives!! Thank you to everyone that has trusted me and supported me over the years. The memories I have will stay with me forever!!

To my current athletes, let’s go out there and put on the best performance we can for Nationals 2020.

Cheerfit Hailstorm - Junior 1 novice - 1st out of 4 teams!!
Cheerfit Thunderstorm - Open 1 non tumble - 1st out of 2 teams!!

Yesterday our cheer teams had their one and only in-person competition for 2020 and it was a success!! Congratulations Junior 1 novice - Cheerfit QLD Hailstorm 2nd place out of 5 teams and Open 1 NT - Cheerfit QLD thunderstorm 1at place out of 2 teams with both teams also hitting zero. Last chance training done and dusted for Cheerfit Hailstorm before hitting the virtual comp floor on Saturday for States. After so many challenges this year, I am super proud of how far this team has pushed themselves over the last 8 weeks to be ready for this moment. Bring on filming day!!
