Dead hangs look simple because they are. But most women skip them because they don't know where to start. Here's how. Find a bar you can reach with a small jump or a box. Grab it with both hands just outside shoulder width, palms facing away. Then let go of everything else: relax your shoulders, let your body hang heavy, and breathe. Your feet can stay lightly on the ground or the box if taking your full weight feels too much right now. That still counts, and that's exactly where you start.
Aim for 10 to 20 seconds at the end of your next session. When that feels easy, add time until you can hang for 30 to 60 seconds. That's it. No fancy programming, no equipment to buy. Just one habit that decompresses your spine, opens your shoulders and builds the grip strength that carries over to every lift you do.
