💡 LIGHT BULB MOMENT

When clients tell me they can’t drink more water because they’ll go to the toilet too much, I tell them… you sound ridiculous 😂

Meanwhile my physio tells me to foam roll daily and mine sits there collecting dust. 🤦‍♀️

Then it hit me… Roberta, you sound ridiculous. 😂

So I started actually doing it alongside my strength training and BOOM 💥 my hip feels so much better.

Maybe we should listen to the pros more… or maybe we just need to stop making excuses and DO the simple stuff we already know works. 😂

💪 TEEN STRENGTH & CONDITIONING — STARTING OCTOBER 12

We know how important strength training is for our teens — not just for sport, but for building strong, confident bodies for the future.

Our 6 Week Teen Strength & Conditioning Program is designed to teach teens how to train properly, build strength, improve fitness, coordination and conditioning — in a safe and supportive environment.

Perfect for teens who play netball or other sports, or simply want to get stronger and fitter. 💚

What if we stopped telling young women to be smaller... and started teaching them to be stronger? 💚

For years we've celebrated the number on the scales.

I'd love to see us celebrate strength instead.

Muscle.

Confidence.

Healthy habits.

Strong bones.

These are things we build now... not when we're 40 or 50 and wishing we'd started sooner.

But the good news? It's never too late to start. 💚

Like every teenager, Madi will make her own choices.

But if I can educate and encourage her—and other young women—to understand the importance of movement, strength and looking after their bodies now, hopefully those habits will stay with them for life.

Because strength isn't about having the biggest muscles or lifting the heaviest weights.

It's about feeling capable.

It's about confidence.

It's about building a body that will look after you for the rest of your life.

Looking good is a bonus.

Feeling strong is the goal. 💚

Sometimes the hardest part isn't the workout... it's starting.

Here's something that might surprise you.

Because of my job, I move every single day. I'm picking up weights, walking around, doing PT sessions and teaching classes.

But in probably 20 years, I haven't actually followed a proper training program for me.

I've stayed active because of my job and because I love being adventurous... but actually training with a plan? Not really.

Then came my hip.

After six months of treatment for a labral tear and working with the best physio ever, I still had this annoying little pinch.

I remember saying to her,

"I don't understand. I'm rolling out. I'm doing everything you've told me. I've even stopped karate because it aggravates my hip."

Her response?

"Maybe that's your problem."

💡 Lightbulb moment.

The exact advice I've been giving my clients for years.

If you stop moving... eventually you'll stop moving.

So Madi and I decided to start my own 12 Weeks to Strong program.

The same program I've been using with clients.

This time, I committed to doing it myself.

And two weeks in...

My hip feels better.

I feel stronger.

My stress levels feel lower.

I have more confidence in what my body can do again.

Do I still see my physio every month? Absolutely. She's been an absolute lifesaver.

But now we're working with a body that's getting stronger instead of one that's doing less.

The funny thing is...

The hardest part wasn't my hip.

The hardest part was starting.

If you've been waiting for the right time...

This is your reminder.

Start.

You don't have to be perfect.

You just have to begin. 💚

P.S. 12 Weeks to Strong is launching later this month... and I can't wait to share it with you.
