Here are some interesting documents dated 1972 relating to a request for Ruddock Park be available for sport. Unfortunately further correspondence from TSC regarding a letter reqesting the park be used for T-ball seems to have "gone missing". I remember answering a request in 1978 to give details to the coucil for line marking and sending them a drawing of the layout for 4 diamonds. Strange how things like this just disappear when it is not convenient.

More "trophies . I remember spending many hours making the first one. The printing was tricky. I had to get it done where they do gold embossing. I personly paid for it all too.

This is Don Evans mayor of Hornsby at the time. He was patron of Hornsby Association which organised junior baseball and Tball competitions right up to 1984. It was through Don's efforts that sport was allowed on Ruddock Park.. He would come to Ruddock Park each year to present the "trophes" to the players.
