One of the questions we get asked most often is: “Should I be nervous for my first class?”
The short answer - absolutely not 😊
That said, feeling a little nervous before trying something new is completely normal. Stepping outside of your comfort zone can feel scary at first, but it’s also where confidence starts to grow.
The hardest part is simply taking that first step through the door and we promise, once your first class is done, those nerves will quickly disappear! You might even meet some amazing new people along the way 🤩
To help you feel even more comfortable for your first visit, here are a few helpful tips:
1. Wear workout gear that you feel comfortable and confident in.
2. Arrive 10 minutes early so one of our friendly team members can show you around the dojo and answer any questions.
3. Take a deep breath, keep an open mind, and get ready to have fun!
