🏏 Would You Be Keen on a Long Sleeve Playing Top? 🏏

We've had some interest from players about the option of purchasing a long sleeve playing top for the upcoming season.

The club is looking at placing an order, with the tops expected to cost approximately $40 each. Before we proceed, we need to know:

🏏 Beechworth Wanderers Cricket Club 2026/27 Player Fees 🏏

As we head into another exciting season, the Committee has carefully reviewed player fees to ensure we can continue providing a great cricket experience for all players and families.

This season's fees will be:

🔹 Under 12, Under 14 & Girls: $130
🔹 Under 16: $170
🔹 Seniors: $350

Why have fees increased this season?

✅ Supporting our new indoor training facility
Our fantastic new indoor net facility is a game changer for cricket in Beechworth. It gives our players access to quality training in all weather conditions and creates opportunities for development across all age groups. We need to ensure we have funds available for ongoing maintenance and upkeep so that players can enjoy the facility for years to come.

✅ No more umpire payments on game day
For senior players, umpire costs will now be included in your registration fee. We heard from our players about how much they hate having to find $10 each Saturday! This change means no more collecting cash each game and one less thing for players and volunteers to organise.

✅ Supporting the future of our competition
The Wangaratta and District Cricket Association (WDCA) is increasing fees charged to clubs to help provide administrative support to the competition. This investment helps reduce the workload on volunteers and ensures the league remains strong, well-managed and sustainable into the future.

✅ Financial Hardship Arrangements
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to play cricket.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the Club President confidentially. The Committee has agreed that the President, in consultation with the Committee, may negotiate an appropriate fee and payment arrangement for individual players and families experiencing financial hardship. 🏏 BIG NEWS FOR THE WANDERERS! 🏏

The Beechworth Wanderers Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that Community Bank Beechworth & District has recommitted as our Major Sponsor for another two years!

This partnership is incredibly important to our club and the wider community. Community Bank Beechworth & District has been a long-standing supporter of local sport and has once again demonstrated its commitment to helping community clubs thrive.

Most recently, the Bank played a significant role in making the Baarmutha Park Indoor Cricket and Sporting Facility a reality. This outstanding facility is already transforming opportunities for cricket in Beechworth, providing a year-round training space for our juniors, seniors and future generations of players.
