The Beechworth FNC supports this move, for us it was a great decision to move across to the TDFNL back in 2004. Our junior programs have expanded and this is what drives the club. Good luck to United Bright Football and Netball Club in its submission.

💙 Men’s Health Week | Check In. Get Checked. Look Out For Your Mates.

This Men’s Health Week, we’re encouraging our Bushies family to take a moment to think about both their physical and mental health.

The statistics are sobering. Too many Australian men are lost to preventable illness and su***de each year. Yet many health conditions can be prevented, managed or treated when we seek help early.

Looking after your health isn’t just about what happens on the football field or netball court. It’s about taking care of yourself so you can be there for your family, your teammates, your mates and your community.

This week, we encourage all Bushies to:

✅ Book a health check with your GP
✅ Look after your mental wellbeing
✅ Reach out to a mate and ask how they’re going
✅ Listen without judgement
✅ Know that asking for help is a sign of strength

A simple conversation can change a life.

Whether it’s a health check, a chat over a coffee, or asking “Are you OK?”, small actions can make a big difference.

At Beechworth Football Netball Club, we’re proud to be more than a club. We’re a community that looks after one another.

The Tallangatta & District Netball Association will officially open the new Sandy Creek Netball Courts and Infrastructure Project on Thursday 18 June 2026.

This project represents a significant milestone for our association and for country netball across the region. The new facilities are the result of a tremendous collective effort involving our clubs, volunteers, project partners, government funding bodies, contractors and the wider community.
We would love to see every TDNA club represented on the day.

Whether it is players, coaches, team managers, committee members, volunteers, officials, life members or supporters, we encourage clubs to have one or more representatives attend and help celebrate this important occasion.
Country netball plays a vital role in connecting communities, creating opportunities for women and girls.. These new facilities are a powerful statement that netball is valued, supported and has a strong future within our region.

Date: Thursday 18 June 2026
Time: 10.00am (arrive from 9.45am)
Location: Sandy Creek Recreation Reserve
464 Lockharts Gap Road, Sandy Creek

The event will include official proceedings, guest speakers, ribbon cutting and morning tea.
