Huge congratulations to Ros and Linda on successfully completing the 2026 Ord River Marathon Paddle with the Alpine Dragon crew! 👏🚣‍♀️

The Ord River Marathon is a spectacular 55km paddle through the Kimberley, taking paddlers from Lake Argyle to Kununurra and testing endurance, determination and teamwork every step of the way.

🏔️❄️ Opening weekend on the ski mountains means one thing – it’s time to pull the woollies out!

While the snow starts to fall, our members are embracing the cooler weather and keeping the training kilometres up, with paddlers getting out on the water in Beechworth, Canberra, and Melbourne.

Winter training is well and truly underway, and it’s great to see everyone staying active, building fitness, and enjoying some beautiful paddling conditions across the country.

Keep rugged up, keep paddling, and we’ll see you on the water! 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️💪❄️🌨️

Thanks to the Beechworth Golden Serpents Dragon Boat Club for having their end of season function at the Old Gaol on Friday night. Our first private function in the new Visitor Reception Centre! We loved hosting you. 🐉

Huge congratulations to Dave and Michelle on their outstanding results at the Barcelona International Dragon Boat Festival! 🇪🇸🐉

Representing a combined team of Dragon Masters Dragon Boat Clubs and UK Preston Dragons, they brought home GOLD in the Men’s Masters Small Boat Senior C 200m — winning by an incredible 0.09 seconds against Canada! What a finish! 🥇

The medal haul didn’t stop there:
🥈 Silver – Dragon Masters Senior C Mixed 20s 200m
🥉 Bronze – Dragon Masters Senior D Small Boat Mixed 200m

An amazing effort, incredible teamwork, and a fantastic achievement representing Australia on the international stage. We are so proud of you both! 💚💛
