Socked it!

Our teams brought out the odd socks over the weekend in support of Sock it to Sarcoma Round.

Why odd socks?

Odd socks represent the translocations of chromosomes found in some sarcomas; in particular between chomosomes 11 and 22, found in many Ewing’s Sarcoma tumours.

Bulldogs win the Battle of the Shanahans!

It’s not often it’s team v team, brother v brother, cousin v cousin but that’s how it played out yesterday at Jubilee Reserve.

Our Y11/12 boys were coached by Paul Shanahan against Bassendean Y11/12, coached by Paul’s brother, Michael.

Down by 23 at half time, it was a tough and passionately fought game, but the boys pulled out some classic Doggies’ grit to take the game (and the brotherly glory) by 14 points!

Huge game, huge result and huge pride in these boys ❤️🤍💙
