A weekend on the Sprint Dog in its first coastal offshore race.
A 25NM race from Low Head to Devonport on Saturday and a return on Sunday.
Saturday with perfect conditions, Sunday was a little wet and not so much wind but a great day out on the water under a new jib (Thanks to Doyle Sails Tasmania) just a small tease of what’s to come.
Thanks to our crew from Hobart  making the trip entertaining. 

Results: Ponrabbel Shield 1st Line Honours, 2nd on Handicap

Last race of the series in blustery conditions that didn’t just give you a wild wind swept hair do but for this dog it was a night of drama ripping a main, shredding a spinnaker and hooking a buoy throwing the boat in reverse and a 360 just to round up the night.
Not the sort of damage we need going into this weekends Ponrabble Shield.
Thanks to CNW Electrical for the sponsorship of the series. It was fantastic racing with good numbers. Looking forward to next years series already to see what this dog can do!

After Sprint Dog’s first win last week and the only week with no footage of the win, this week we captured the action in wind and a little wet conditions. This boat loves a bit of wind!
