12 years of Don’t Think, Do.
Twelve. Whole. Years.
That is 12 years of early mornings, setting out weights, “just one more round,” winter motivation texts to get people to class, me counting reps while absolutely forgetting what number we were up to, and clients discovering that “quick FUN finisher” is rarely quick and almost never fun until after 🙂 .
When I started Don’t Think, Do, I don’t think I fully understood what I was building. I thought I was helping people get fitter. And I was. But over the years, it has become so much more than that.
It has been community.
Accountability.
Friendships.
Shared laughs.
And a very strong collective belief that turning up is usually the hardest part.
To every client who has trained with me, whether it was once, for a season, or for years, thank you. You have trusted me with your goals, your time, your injuries, your comebacks, your confidence, and your “I haven’t done anything for ages, please don’t kill me” moments.
To everyone who has followed along, liked a post, joined a challenge, sent encouragement, recommended me to a friend, or quietly cheered from the sidelines, thank you too.
Small businesses survive because people keep showing up for them. And I am very grateful that you have kept showing up for mine.
Here’s to 12 years of Don’t Think, Do.
Still moving and lifting.
Still laughing with clients.
Still slightly suspicious of anyone who says they love burpees.
