It is so bittersweet to let you all know that the chelseyoga studio is temporarily closed 💛 a new path has formed for me to grow and follow my passion for design and marketing!

While I am so excited to have this new role, it is a full time commitment, so I had to make the tough decision to close the studio (for now...) 🥲

I’d like to thank all of my beautiful yogis who attended classes on the mountain, it was a privilege to get to know you and share the space together. It was all of you who helped build chelseyoga into something so much bigger than I ever imagined it could be! ✨✨✨

I am ‘temporarily’ closed, as I would love to re-open again in the future, if that is what is meant to be!

I am not vanishing completely from the yoga world, I am still guiding yoga at The Base Yoga in Berwick and I would love to see you there! Or even if you just want to chat, my inbox is always open!

winter yoga timetable 🧦🍂✨

i’ve made some changes for the cooler season, all classes now running on Saturdays…

8:00am Vinyasa (45min) 🌞 for the early risers who like to start their mornings by building heat and energy in their bodies ~ Vinyasa is a traditional sequencing where we connect our breath with the moment, moving more quickly than we would in a Hatha flow and we have a play with some of the more challenging poses and balances

9:00am Hatha (60mins) 🪷 my most popular class with my yogis, great for beginners as we start slow bringing calm to the mind, warming up the body with some lovely deep postures

10:15am Yin (60mins) 🧘🏼‍♀️ yin yoga is a more gentle and meditative style of yoga, the passive poses targets the deep connective tissues of the body ~ these poses are mainly seated or reclined and held for 3-5 minutes, this style is great for anyone who is new to yoga or recovering from an injury

we increase our flexibility,
strengthen our muscles,
improve our posture,
enhance our circulation…

all these incredible psychical benefits, but yoga at its core is so much more…

it’s a beautiful balance of rest and movement,
of holding on and letting go,
its our anchor to the present moment,
and allows us to connect to the truest most authentic self…

at its core ~ yoga translates to union, the union of body, mind and breath,
the union of ego and spirit,
the union of mundane and divine… 💛
