✨ MONDAY MOTIVATION ✨ “Life isn’t measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”🙌🏼

How many things are sitting on your bucket list waiting for “one day”?

One day I’ll travel there.
One day I’ll take the trip.
One day I’ll have the time.
One day I’ll have the money.
One day…

But what if one day starts with today? 🥰

This year, I finally ticked something off my own bucket list — the Amalfi Coast. Italy🇮🇹

And standing there, looking out over that incredible coastline, I was reminded that life is actually happening right now.💃

The dreams we have.
The places we want to see.
The experiences we want to have.
The people we want to share them with.💞

They don’t have to remain dreams.

Your bucket list isn’t just a list of things you’d like to do someday…

It’s a list of experiences that are calling you to LIVE!

So this Monday, pick one thing from your list.
Maybe it’s a trip.
Maybe it’s learning something new.
Maybe it’s starting the business.
Maybe it’s riding that horse.
Maybe it’s finally saying yes to an adventure that scares you a little.

Then ask yourself:

“What is one thing I can do TODAY to bring that dream closer?”

Because you don’t need to have the whole journey figured out.

You just need to take the first step. ✨

Dream it. Plan it. Work towards it. And then… GO TICK IT OFF. 🥂🌊🇮🇹🐎

Life is too precious to keep waiting for someday.

Have a fabulous week!! What’s the next thing you’re ticking off your bucket list?

WHAT DOES A FATHER REPRESENT? 🤎
A father represents more than a title.
He represents strength.
Safety.
Guidance.
Protection.
Wisdom.
And the quiet confidence of knowing there is someone beside you who believes in you.

True strength doesn’t need to dominate.
True leadership doesn’t need to control.
And true connection cannot be forced.

A horse feels safest with someone who is calm, consistent, grounded and trustworthy.
Perhaps children are not so different.

One of the greatest things a father teaches his children is not through his words, but through how he lives.
How he treats people.
How he handles conflict.
How he speaks when he is angry.
How he takes responsibility when he gets something wrong.
And especially, how he treats a woman.

Because a daughter is watching.
And a son is learning.

A daughter learns what she should expect from the people she allows into her life.
A son learns what it means to respect, honour and value a woman.

Not through lectures.
Through example.

A father can show his children that masculinity can be strong without being harsh.
Protective without being controlling.
Confident without being arrogant.
And powerful without ever needing to diminish someone else.

Because the way a man treats the woman beside him becomes part of the blueprint his children carry into their own relationships.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest forms of fatherhood:

Not just raising children, but modelling the kind of love, respect and integrity you hope they will one day give and receive themselves.
Because the most powerful fathers don’t create dependence.

They create confidence.

They don’t need to have all the answers.
They simply show their children, through the way they live, what strength, integrity, compassion and resilience can look like.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest lessons our horses can teach us too.

Happy Father’s Day to the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who choose to lead with love. 🐴💜

Because sometimes the greatest legacy a father leaves isn’t what he gives his children…it’s the example he sets for them.

🐴 Horses are the masters of communication.

As humans, we tend to think communication is about what we say and what we do.

Our words.
Our tone.
Our body language.
Our physical actions.

But horses teach us that communication goes so much deeper than that.

They read the things we often don’t even realise we are communicating.

✨ Our energy.
✨ Our intention.
✨ Our emotional state.
✨ Our level of presence.
✨ The congruence between what we say and what we actually feel.

A horse doesn’t just listen to your words.

They feel the state behind them.

You can tell a horse, “It’s okay,” while your body is tense, your breath is shallow and your nervous system is screaming something completely different.

And the horse knows.

This is why working with horses can become such a profound lesson in emotional intelligence.

They invite us to become quieter.
More present.
More honest.
More aware.

They teach us that connection isn’t about controlling another being.

It’s about learning to communicate clearly enough that trust can exist between you.

And perhaps one of the greatest gifts horses give us is the opportunity to become fluent in a language we were never taught at school…

The language of energy, intention, presence and connection. 💜🙏

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can communicate…

isn’t something you say at all. 🐎✨

WHEN YOUR BODY GOES INTO FIGHT OR FLIGHT 🐴✨

We talk so much about regulating our horses… but what about regulating ourselves?

Because sometimes it isn’t that you’re overreacting.
It isn’t that you’re “too sensitive.”
It isn’t that you’re not coping well enough.

Your nervous system may simply be saying: “I don’t feel safe right now.”

When we feel overwhelmed, stressed, threatened or emotionally flooded, our body can move into fight or flight.

We might become angry.
We might want to run away.
We might shut down.
We might overthink everything.
We might feel the need to fix, control or defend.

And in that state, it’s very difficult to think clearly or respond from the calm, grounded version of ourselves.

So before you react… regulate. ❤️

✨ Stop and take a breath.
✨ Feel your feet firmly on the ground.
✨ Lengthen your exhale.
✨ Unclench your jaw and soften your shoulders.
✨ Step away from the situation if you need to.
✨ Put your attention on what you can physically see and feel around you.
✨ Give your body time to realise that this moment is not an emergency.

And perhaps most importantly…

You don’t have to solve everything while you are overwhelmed.🙏

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause.

This is something we learn with horses too.

A horse cannot truly connect, learn or make good decisions when their nervous system is overwhelmed — and neither can we.

💚Regulation comes before connection.
💜Safety comes before learning.
🩵Calm comes before clarity.

So the next time you feel yourself moving into fight or flight, don’t judge yourself.

Pause.
Breathe.
Ground.

Come back to yourself.

Then choose your response.💗

Because emotional regulation isn’t about never feeling overwhelmed.

It’s about learning how to find your way back to calm. 🌿🥰
If you need help Heartland Mindset mastery course will teach you this, dm for details.💜

🌻HELLO SPRING!🌻

There’s something about the first day of spring that feels like an invitation…😍

A fresh start.
A clearing of the old.
A little more light.
And a reminder to get outside, breathe deeply and reconnect with what truly matters. 🌿🐎

And what better way to step into spring than with your horse? 🐴✨

Our next Liberty & Obstacle Clinic is coming up — 20th September, a day designed to deepen your connection, build confidence and communication, and have some fun.

Liberty work asks us to let go of control and really listen.
Obstacle work asks us to trust, think, communicate and work together.

And when you combine the two, something pretty special happens… 💜🤗

You stop just training your horse and start creating a partnership.

🌸 Spring is a beautiful time to start something new.

We still have a few spots available for our upcoming Liberty & Obstacle Clinic.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your sign. ✨🌈

Come and spend a day learning, connecting and growing with your horse.

New season. New energy. Deeper connection. 🐴🌿

DM me for details or to secure your spot.💃

Monday Motivation- “When the ego leads, we seek control. When the heart leads, we create connection.” 🐴❤️

EGO vs HEART 🐴❤️

Your ego says:
“Make them do it.”
Your heart says:
“Why are they struggling?”

Your ego says:
“They should know this by now.”
Your heart says:
“Maybe I need to explain it differently.”

Your ego says:
“I can’t let them win.”
Your heart says:
“This isn’t about winning.”

Your ego says:
“Push through.”
Your heart says:
“Listen.”

Your ego wants the result.

Your heart wants the relationship.

And here’s the beautiful thing…

When you let go of the need to prove yourself, you often discover that your horse becomes more willing, more confident and more connected than ever before.

Because horses don’t need us to be the boss.

They need us to be someone they can trust.

There is a time to be clear.
A time to be firm.
A time to ask more.

But there should never be a time when our ego becomes more important than our horse’s wellbeing.

The best horse people aren’t the ones who can make a horse submit.

They’re the ones who can create a horse that chooses to connect. ❤️

So today, before you ask your horse to do something…

Ask yourself:

“Am I asking this from my ego… or from my heart?”
💜💜💜 Have a beautiful blessed week💜💜💜 Angelika Waesch Photography

There was always something a little extra special about Dolly Parton…

Behind the incredible voice, the sparkling personality and the huge heart was a woman who understood the magic of animals, dreams and staying true to yourself.

Dolly reminded us to dream big, work hard, be kind and never be afraid to pave a new road when the one you’re on no longer feels right.

Her words have inspired generations, and I’d love to know…

✨ What is YOUR favourite Dolly Parton quote and song?✨

Here are a few to choose from or feel free to share more.🥰🙏

1. “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”😍
2. “You’ll never do a whole lot unless you’re brave enough to try.”🙌🏼
3. “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”🌈
4. “If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.”💃
5. “My dream was to make as many people happy as I could in this life.”😇
🐎💜Vale Dolly 🙏

✨ MAKE SURE YOUR LIFE IS FULL OF… ✨

“Can’t believe I did that!”
instead of
“Should’ve done that!”

To say I’m proud of these two ladies is an understatement. ❤️

Giving Shirlene and Lara a bridleless lesson together, watching them have such incredible harmony, trust and connection with their horses, made my heart absolutely sing. 🐴✨

This is why I do what I do.😍🙌🏼

It’s not just about teaching people how to ride. It’s about helping them find that deeper connection, believe in themselves, step outside their comfort zone and discover just how capable they really are.

And then watching them shine so brightly that they inspire others… that is the greatest reward of all. 🥹❤️

Big congratulations Shirlene and Lara — you are both truly inspiring. 🌟

Here’s to a life full of “I can’t believe I just did that!” moments. ✨🥂🐎
