A few words from Jenny Mc, sharing her thanks and appreciation:
"Jenny's Surprise 80th.
Wow, it certainly was a SURPRISE !!! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate my "Surprise 80th Birthday Party", one which I will never forget!!
I feel very honoured that so many members would roll up to this event. Special thanks to Emma and Jade for the main organising of it along with my beautiful family and Michael who minded the bar all night. The club house came up a real treat with all the fancy decorations and the cake was amazing too (Emma's handiwork).
Thank you all for your heartfelt good wishes, lovely cards and generous gifts.
I am proud to be a life member of UBTC which like most great clubs is only as good as the people in it.
It is also great to see so many young families getting involved in our club. I heard that all eight junior teams made it to the finals which is a great result. Good Luck to the six teams who are still in contention and each with a strong chance.
