What a night!

Our Women's League Tag team took to the field for the first time last night, and they did not disappoint!

Battling the elements for the entire game - constant rain and some angry plovers - these ladies got out there and showed us how it is done!

There were smiles and laughs all round! We are so excited to watch this team grow!

💙💛 FOOTY DOESN'T STOP WHEN THE SEASON ENDS! 🏉🇹🇴

While our 2026 Pelicans season may have wrapped up, seven of our U13 Girls have been keeping busy, continuing their footy journey with Lomipeau!

Over the past 6 weeks, these girls have thrown themselves into both cultural and rugby league training, learning about Tongan culture, stepping outside their comfort zones, taking on new positions and finding their feet amongst a whole new team!

And this weekend, all that hard work paid off when they took the field at the Tongan Rugby League Battle of the Zones Carnival at Redbank Plains! 🇹🇴

The Lomipeau U13 Girls had an amazing weekend, fighting their way through to Sunday's Grand Final! While they didn't come away with the win, they certainly walked away with plenty to be proud of! 💪

At Beachmere, we love seeing our players embrace new opportunities, build friendships, experience different cultures and, most importantly, continue doing what they love!

We couldn't be prouder of our seven Pelicans girls! Your dedication, willingness to learn and love for the game is what it's all about!

Well done, girls! 💙💛🏉

This is what it is all about! This photo is everything to our club!

Presentations done ✅
Lunch served ✅

And then we get to look out across our field and see players of all ages mingling, laughing and playing footy.

No fighting. No tension. No one being left out.

Just Pelicans — young and old — enjoying the game they love, together. 🏉💙💛

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. This is more than just a football club. This is community. This is family. This is Beachmere!!
