ut to start 2015 / 2016 with our first round in Bundaberg 31st October this season we are working on introducing a bigger Whalley's team racing with mark Jnr hoping to have his new car on the track after Xmas . and we are putting together a super 6 witch will be driven by steve little ,and two new rookie drivers Kevin Mainey , and Bo Livesley . will all so be coming out of the Whalley's team's racing stable our first torana that was joined in 2002 when club started , and a OTR Chassis will be put together hi everyone would like to start our story I started pit crewing in about 1969 /70 about 13yrs old for Duke Bowman when Duke got his torana he gave me and my mate mark Churchward his old eh holden . we shared the car for awhile then mark Churchward went his own way and stoped racing , while I kept racing, had some luck then I brought keith doud all gas eh with no motor put my motor in and won a few races blow motor ,so I was out of action ,until pearl wire who at the time owed Narangba wreckers said come out and grab a motor a 179 red motor so thanks to pearl I was racing again then after some wins in the eh we went every where to race Gladstone , Rockhampton, Yandina, Ipswich, ekka, gold coast, Kingaroy, and sunday at Caboolture speedway, you use to race 3 times a weekend drove duke Datsun at Kingaroy and we got 1st and 2nd duke was in his torana a very fast car, then we went into the bombers a cheaper way to race you didn't have to spend a lot of money to go fast the first day bombers started at Archerfield speedway Sid Stansbury gave us the cars to race a ej holden rocket Evan jones drove a valiant I drove we won the main race as time went by so did the cars I got us a run in Kingaroy we were something new to them I got a group together to come with me to race each other big Neal Thomson, Alan shepherd, to name a few it was good fast and clean racing we put on a good show. we started going to other tracks gold coast , Yandina Kingaroy , and even Bundaberg by then their were three grade stock standard , modified , a grade each grade had 20 plus cars except stock standard, we had over 60 cars three grade a b c d at one stage, great drivers any one of us could win on the night guys like Garry lee, Gary cheers ,me mark Whalley, Greg glover, Ron Newman, Alan Scott, Wayne Kent, to name a few I ended up winning a lot at Yandina, I won my first Australian championship in 1985, then we moved away and came back with a super sedan , and ran at Yandina in 2000 in sprint sedans and 2001 won both years then in 2002 we Introducing. the new Queensland
Outlaw Super Sedans 2002 to 2005 I had a lot of wins crashed bad in 2005, then in 2005 = Australian Outlaw Super Sedans Championship ROMA ( AUS ) 2ND place. Queensland Outlaw Super Sedans Club Championship 2nd place.
2006 = Queensland Outlaw Super Championship (QLD) 3rd
2007 = Queensland Outlaw Super Sedans Club Championship 2nd place, didn't do much racing then the return to racing
2014 = Queensland Outlaw Super Sedans Club Championship 4th place. Queensland Outlaw Super Sedans Championship (QLD) 3th place.i hope I will be back in 2016 to add to my story ,
