Saturday Mission: Bayswater ➔ Carrum! 🚲🌊

We’re trading the hills for the coast this Saturday! Join the crew for a solid 70km return trip from the shop out to Carrum and back.

This is an intermediate-distance ride, but we’re keeping the pace easy, steady, and social. Whether you’re looking to push your distance or just want a long morning in the saddle with good company, this one is for you.

The Details:

📍 Meet: Cycle Fixation, Bayswater

🕗 Roll out: 8:00am sharp

🗺️ The Route: 99.5% bike paths (with an 8km gravel section into Carrum)

☕ The Reward: Halfway coffee stop by the beach!

If you’re comfortable riding 50–70km at a relaxed pace, you’ll be sweet.

Brad is leading the way this Saturday! We’re rolling out from the shop in Bayswater to explore the new gravel section out toward Yering.

We’ll be heading through Mooroolbark - expect a few hills to keep things interesting- before hitting the fresh trail.

Our gravel crew at the start of last week’s ride 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ This Saturday, we’re back out there for a 60km return trip from Mt Evelyn to Warburton.

Expect a steady social pace, a mid-ride coffee stop in Warby, and a midday finish back at the meet point.

Mostly bike paths, some gravel, ~70km all up
8am roll-out, easy, steady pace

We’ll ride together, split at Lysterfield to suit different paces, regroup, then cruise back to the shop

This is an INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL distance, ridden at an easy, steady, social pace.

Then we’ll ride back together to the shop.
