John Gardiner Ski Club is a family based club with a lodge catering for winter skiing and summer bush walking. It is one of many lodges located in the main township atop Mount Baw Baw. Mount Baw Baw is a National Park and offers breathtaking views and plenty of activities both in the summer months (the green season) and the winter months (the white season). The lodge provides accommodation for its

members and guests. With 20 beds in 6 rooms, a double kitchen and dining room, and a ski and drying room for the winter, it is big enough for the whole family. The lodge is suited best for families and small groups such as Bush Walking Clubs, Scout and Girl Guide groups and Small School Groups (out door education). Generally accommodation is available mid-week winter and most summer periods. The John Gardiner Ski Club is a co-op organization run by members who run and maintain the lodge. Winter bookings open early April and summer bookings open after the end of the winter season. For further enquiries, please contact the booking officers on (03) 9798 5315.

So the moisture drained away and we had a freeze overnight. Lifts Opened and People hit the slopes (see video 1)

Yes we had a rain event - mainly yesterday.
But then it snowed heavily last night
I went out and took pictures of Hut Run this am - what a treat

No wind, foggy but not wet, The runs are still in good shape and you can see the large piles of manufactured snow that hs been made overnight and still going this am
The Toboggan park is open; Huskies are open; Food and Beverage is Open (love the TBar).

We are all willing the hours to go past. Lifties have arrived, ready for
lifts to open tomorrow and run til the end of the Snow Season .

28 days to Snow Season Opening - and countdown continues.
We have nearly completed our works Program for this year, with particular attention to lighting/heating throughout the Lodge, another double glazed window and Drying Room carpet (see picture).

Great to see the additional parking, and mountain staff are really flat out with preparations for the Season

Mt Baw Baw Ski Hire is gearing up, and as usual, will be able to meet the requests for Toboggans, Skis and Snowboards. Prices are very reasonable and well trained staff can help you ensure that correct safety settings are applied

Lodge Managers have been recruited and will ensure that our guests enter a clean and well resourced property

Cooler weather is already being recorded at Mt Baw Baw. Bring it on!!!
