Wambuul Indigenous Connection will be travelling to Raymond Terrace from October 2nd–5th to compete in the 2026 Koori Knockout, the biggest Aboriginal rugby league tournament in the country.

2026 Central West Black Trackers 2Reds Knockout.

What an amazing day today was, family & friends everywhere to support us. Unfortunately we did not get the result we would have liked to, Dubbo put up a great performance aswell. We all would like to thank our Sponsors Ray White Bathurst East Coast Supplements Orange LJMotorsport today would not of been possible at all with the you all. A massive thank you to our coach Tyson Keogh & our trainer Maisey Fish. It was a great experience putting a side in we know where to adjust for next knockout.

March 7th-8th KENNARD Park Wellington NSW. Our men’s team will be debuting, if anyone would like to come show your support for some local Bathurst men & see some good rugby league action lock in the dates. We do still have spots available for sponsorships as we will be entering the Koori Knockout in October as well.

What part of the KO are you most excited about?
We are most excited to debut our team, play some footy with family and friends. A dream come true.

2 players in your team, that should be on everyone’s radar and why?

Sean Persons, He is one of our boys going through development programs, freshly 18 and has Melbourne Storm, Canberra Raiders & Manly Seagulls looking to sweep him up.

Jakai Dixon, He is another star player of ours, He went through Penrith panthers juniors growing up, played 5/8 and centre for north sydney bears Harold Mathew’s 2 years in a row also trialed with south sydney and played division 1

Any final words or even shoutout to your community or even sponsors?

Our journey began two years ago when the Bathurst Koori Knockout was first announced.
At the time, life got in the way and we weren’t able to get the team organised as planned.

What started as an idea between two mates — Tyson Keogh and Brodie England — bouncing around names, designs, and players, has finally become a reality.

We’re incredibly proud to see our vision come to life and make our official debut at the Knockout.
