Bathurst Junior Golf Academy is designed to cater for all junior golfers. Whether your child has ambitions to be the next Peter O'Malley or just wants to learn the basics so they can play a round with friends we have programs and coaches to cater for their needs. The beauty of the game of golf is that no matter what level a child is at they are encouraged to develop. Based on the handicapping syst

em they are able to track their own development on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Not only do our PGA professionals develop the child's ability by assisting their physical game but we assist with the finer points of the game including respect of others through golfing etiquette. The starting point for new juniors wishing to learn the game is Saturday Morning and Tuesday afternoon training at our driving range. As the players progress in skill level they are invited to play on the course for nine holes of golf or less holes on a Sunday morning or Friday afternoon. From this development we encourage the junior golfer to join the club. From here we progress the player to be able to play 18 holes in our club competitions. A junior membership is only $30 per year and there social play on the course is free each time.

Big Shoutout to these 3 legends, Maiv, Cooper and Rory who helped to win the Division 1 Gold Medal for WRAS (Western Region Academy of Sport) at the Academy Games in Wagga Wagga this weekend.
All team members stroke and net scores contributed to a 2nd overall place in the Individual Division placing them in Division 1 for the Matchplay Playoffs.
They won their first Matchplay Team event 3-2 and then lifted to beat the Individual number one team in the Gold Medal Playoff 5-0.
Head Coach Bruce McLean and Assistant Coach Bathurst’s own and not long ex junior Casey Thompson.
Super effort by the whole team.

Massive day of Junior Golf Bathurst Golf Club today for the Bathurst Junior Classic.
Congratulations to Maiv and Cooper for taking out the overall winners of boys and girls events.
Also congratulations to all our prize winners today.
Big thanks to Bathurst Golf Centre - Matt Barrett Golf Matthew Barrett and Timmy McKinnon for an awesome day with great golf and great prizes.
