Bathurst Junior Golf Bathurst Junior Golf Academy is designed to cater for all junior golfers. From this development we encourage the junior golfer to join the club.

At Bathurst Golf Club, PGA Club Professional Tom Perfect and Associate Professional Alex Gale are committed to fostering the next generation of golfers through our Junior Golf Development Program. Whether your child has ambitions to be the next Peter O'Malley or just wants to learn the basics so they can play a round with friends we have programs and coaches to cater for their needs. The beauty of the game of golf is that no matter what level a child is at they are encouraged to develop. Based on the handicapping system they are able to track their own development on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Not only do our PGA professionals develop the child's ability by assisting their physical game but we assist with the finer points of the game including respect of others through golfing etiquette. The starting point for new juniors wishing to learn the game is Saturday Morning and Tuesday afternoon training at our driving range. As the players progress in skill level they are invited to play on the course for nine holes of golf or less holes on a Sunday morning or Friday afternoon. From here we progress the player to be able to play 18 holes in our club competitions. A junior membership is only $30 per year and there social play on the course is free each time.

Thankyou to everyone who joined us on Sunday for August’s 9-hole competition. It was wonderful to see eight juniors and their caddies on course, despite the drizzling rain. Congratulations to our winners!

We look forward to seeing our regular juniors, and any new juniors looking for an enjoyable day out on the course, at our next event on Sunday, 13th September.
