Hey Pony Clubbers! Get excited, cause we have an exciting opportunity coming up!

This July, we will be hosting a showjumping clinic with Rod McQueen, Pony Club NSW and EA Interschools coach 🐎👌

Rod has successfully competed at World Cup level, and produced horses that have gone on to compete at the highest levels both domestically and internationally.

The clinic will run over 2 days, being the 4th and 5th of July 2026.

Cost per horse / rider combination is $200, and includes an incredible 3 hours of training with Rod across 2 x 1.5 hour group lessons. Fence sitting is welcome.

Places are limited and filling up fast, so get your entries in asap - entries are live now on JustGo 🙌

Entries strictly limited to active Pony Club members within our Zone - if you're outside Zone 3 and interested please do get in touch!

Thank You to Our Incredible Volunteers – Volunteers Week 2026
Bathurst Pony Club would like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers. Your time, hard work, and dedication keep our club running and make so many opportunities possible for our riders. Bathurst Pony Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Bathurst region, and we take great pride in supporting the local equestrian community!

Here our current President, Emily, is helping out Rachael, the President of the newly established Sofala club, with some equipment to try for their rally day this weekend.

Bathurst Pony Club has documented historical references dating back to at least 1893, reflecting a proud and enduring connection with the Bathurst region and its equestrian community.
For generations, the Club has supported regional children, families, riders and volunteers through encouraging participation, horsemanship, community spirit and personal development.

Bathurst Pony Club remains proud to be a welcoming and supportive part of the local community and looks forward to continuing that contribution well into the future.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate all of the amazing Pony Club mums who do so much behind the scenes to make our club what it is.

From the early mornings, late nights, plaiting manes, washing gear, towing floats, cheering from the sidelines, lending a helping hand and always being our biggest supporters — we thank you.
Your dedication, patience and encouragement help create so many special memories for our riders and our pony club community.

Wishing all of our Bathurst Pony Club mums, grandmothers and mother figures a beautiful Mother’s Day. We hope you have a wonderful day and know how appreciated you truly are 💐🐴💖

A team of 7 riders and 10 mounts from BPC had a great day at the 2026 Zone 3 Showjumping Championships at Orange Pony Club today, with every horse and rider combination bringing home a ribbon!

Congratulations to all of our riders for their efforts and excellent riding, we're super proud of you all. Extra big High Fives for those blues, broad ribbons and Champion Rugs!

Hope you are all enjoying some downtime with your best fur friends and family 💛 and that the Christmas season has been kind to you all.
With the very end of 2025 nearly upon us, we wanted to reach out and thank you all for a tremendous year. Thank you for the laughs, the support, and the memories. The restorative joy and timeless nature of spending time with horses is, in our opinion, time very well spent - after all, "No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle" ~Winston Churchill
Given the recent events in Bondi, it is more important than ever to pause and remember that kindness is paramount, and that peaceful, safe, time spent with our loved ones is ever so precious. So, here's wishing us all a very Happy and Safe New Year, filled with an abundance of joyful times with our friends and our Pony Club family.
⭐️ Memberships for 2026 are now open! So, jump onto JustGo and keep your memberships (and insurances) active. Remember these fees cover our ridden members at home as well as out and about, which is has been a great initiative of Pony Club Australia.
⭐️ Our first rally day for 2026 will be on Sunday, 18 January 2026 - more details to follow.
