This week's focus was on controlled deadlift technique and cardio conditioning, with our swimmers continuing to build strength, improve movement quality, and develop the fitness needed to support their performance in the pool.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at the MPS Short Course Championships over the weekend! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Our team had an outstanding meet, achieving an incredible 54 personal bests across the weekend! 👏

We also celebrated some fantastic results in the medals tally:
🥇 27 First Places
🥈 22 Second Places
🥉 11 Third Places

A special shout-out goes to Noah and Ky, who were both crowned Age Champions in their respective age groups — an amazing achievement! 🌟🏆

🎉 Congratulations Jess on 10 Years of Service at Cityfit Bathurst! 🎉

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone as Jess marks 10 years with the Cityfit Bathurst family.

Jess began her journey with us as a Swim School Instructor 10 years ago and has since expanded her role to include Group Fitness Instructor, Receptionist, Personal Trainer, and most recently, Swim School Coordinator.

One of the most remarkable things about Jess's journey is that she is still teaching children from families she taught during her very first year at Cityfit. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to helping others have left a lasting impact on countless families in our community.

When asked what she loves most about working at Cityfit, Jess says it's the people, the culture and most importantly the community!

"I have had the privilege of watching thousands of kids grow up and learn to swim. Watching children go from being scared of the water to confidently swimming full laps of the pool has been such a rewarding part of my time at Cityfit, and I can't wait to see what the future holds."

Jess, thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and the positive difference you make every day. Your passion for helping others achieve their goals and your commitment to our community are truly appreciated.
