The struggle on your own is tough, gruelling and often unsuccessful :(. Statistically, 1/4 people will leave the gym before reaching their goals no matter the support level, 1/4 will find a comfortable gym routine to maintain a healthy lifestyle but perhaps not reach the goals originally intended for their gym membership. 1/2 of the people who walk in the gym need some form of instruction long term to make sure they improve their fitness, healthy habits and reach their goals.

Enlisting in that social support network at a gym is so important and we have worked hard to provide the best trainers, environment and support for you to reach those goals. We are especially proud of our Small Group Personal Training options as they are built around a supportive environment. We recognise as trainers that our whole lives are based around fitness and training so we asked our D2FX members what they have enjoyed about our programs.

Maree (SGPT member for over 2 years) says: “Small group provides an environment that encourages higher levels of involvement, as you can't hide like you can in a large group and because it's a small group there's a higher level of teamwork, friendship and encouragement from the members as well as the trainer”.

Ange (D2FX one on one and SGPT member) says: “It is good to be working with the same people each week to help you feel more comfortable. There is lots of support and encouragement which pushes you when you’re feeling flat. I would recommend this to people that require a higher level of motivation and encouragement and appreciate a more personal experience”

We work on all areas of movement with a variable training focus and Jane (D2FX one on one and SGPT member) especially appreciates this side to our program : “I really enjoy the small groups for all the support, encouragement and motivation and especially the laughs, but also the variation in exercises and I learn so much”.

We recognise not all people love exercise the way we do and Mel (SGPT member for over 2 years) hits the nail on the head stating “Having people to whinge with is good and we aren’t struggling alone. I also find one on one training is too intense for me and the Small Groups seem to fit”.
We believe we have a program that will educate, improve and make you enjoy exercise in a supportive, team environment.

Massive congratulations to BCC member Emilie Miller. WORLD CHAMPION!!!

Emilie is a quiet member of the BCC, not having many opportunities to race with the club. Instead she solidly trains hard in Bathurst and has improved out of sight in the last 12 months.

We are amazingly proud of Emilie Miller and her achievements. Today, Em hopped on a bird and goes to compete with the very best at the World Para-cycling Championships in Italy!

It takes a lot (A LOT!!!!!) to fearlessly pursue what you want in life. Emilie has been training up to 6 days a week getting ready for this race and seeing Coach Adam 2 x a week for strength preparation. We wish Emilie all the very best as she gives her all at the Worlds!

Here is a great photo of Emilie and Kate all dressed in Cycling Australia's HPU (High Performance Unit) apparel. That kind of thing is earned (blood, sweat and tears) and we know you will do us all proud by giving your best!

Hey Crew!
My name is Stewart. I’ve been working in the fitness industry for the last five years. Ive completed certificate 3,4, and diploma in fitness and also completed a bachelor of Exercise Science. My education didn’t stop there. Ive continued further by completing the Master Functional Trainer through the Functional Training Institute which involves the use of Suspension Trainer, Sandbags, Kettlebells, battling Ropes and speed and agility. My main speciality is injury prevention and mobility which also includes bodyweight movement components.

My fitness interests involve Obstacle racing such as spartan, and Tough Mudder based events, which I've completed over 50+ events. I’m highly active in outdoor adventures such as hiking, photography and kayaking.

I am currently running a Group FX session on Wednesday's at 6pm. This training session will be set to challenge you, improve your movement and combine all the things I love about teamwork and exercise!

Hey guys, Coach Adam here! I have been part of D2F family for 2 years now and love the inclusive environment. Group FX is something our PT team has put together because as you can see in this photo, exercise should be about fun! (Thanks Coach Stew). We are aiming to have FX sessions throughout the week which will help you reach your fitness goals and build friendships around the gym. We will start with set times each week and aim to grow this community/team based coaching project.

I will be holding FX sessions on Monday's at 5.30pm and Tuesday's at 6.30pm. There are limited spots available so why not book in to try a session. $23 for 1 x 60 minute FX session. If you wish to do more you sure can.

My name is Amelia (Millie) and I have recently moved from the town of Lismore to Bathurst, joining the D2F team!

I will be running a Group FX session 6AM Monday mornings!!!!! Starting on the 18th I would love for you to know a little about me before I get started!

In early 2017 I graduated from University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science & Nutrition. Since then have been helping people to reach their health and fitness goals!! I love sport and as an AFL and netball player I love to utilise my gym training to help enhance my performance on game day. Starting as a young teen in group fitness classes, to venturing out into the ‘scary’ weights section of the gym, I know how intimidating it can be when you’re just starting. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing clients build their confidence and transform themselves both physically and mentally.

Working in the health and fitness industry has allowed me to share my passion for exercise with many different people and I am looking forward to being able to continue to do this in the D2fX program!

Over the next 2 weeks we will be talking to you guys about Group FX.

The training principles for Group FX are based on the power of what a team can achieve with 2-5 people per session. Designed to improve your movement and reach higher levels of fitness, you should expect Group FX to improve your strength, cardiovascular fitness, coordination and develop a better, more inclusive mindset.

For just $23 for 1 x 60min session a week you know you will love the drive and commitment you get from your Personal Trainer and your Group FX team.

Congratulations to D2f Racing Team Member EMILIE MILLER selected in the TEAM for the 2018 UCI TO PARA ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP to be held in Italy from 2-5 August 2018. All the Personal Training session with the D2f Team Adam, Stewart, Molly and Amelia have seen some great progression for Emilie and we a super proud of her efforts and selection for worlds.
