Dark South Promotions is bringing fight night back to the South Coast. A huge night of amateur boxing showcasing local talent, hard work and the next generation of fighters stepping through the ropes.

We’re currently welcoming sponsors and local businesses who want to get behind the event and support grassroots boxing in our community.

🥊 Dark South Fight Camp – 10 Weeks to Fight Night 🥊

Ever thought about stepping through the ropes for the first time?

Starting Monday March 30th, Dark South Academy is running a 10-week fight camp leading into South Coast Fight Night – June 6th.

This camp is designed for anyone wanting to experience their first amateur boxing bout in a safe, structured environment. Fighters will be matched with opponents of similar skill, experience and weight.

Includes full access to The Ditch & Dark South Academy classes, structured boxing sessions, sparring progression and fight preparation.

Huge congratulations to everyone who was selected for the Female Boxing Development Camp at the AIS.

It was an honour to attend as one of the NSW coaches and be part of such a strong group of athletes and coaches. The standard, effort and attitude from all the girls was incredible to see.

A special congratulations to Jacinta and Jasmine on being selected, both represented themselves and our team with pride.

And an extra special mention to Jacinta, who came away with the Best Boxer of the Camp award. A well-deserved result and a real reflection of the work she’s been putting in.

Very proud of you both and grateful to have been part of the experience.

🥊 Introducing Big Joe to the Dark South Academy family! 🖤

Joe brings a wealth of Muay Thai and Boxing experience from Bangkok, where he’s coached both Thai and international athletes as Head Muay Thai & Boxing Coach at MTFclub. He holds the Muay Thai Coach A License, the highest official coaching qualification issued by the Sports Authority of Thailand.

Joe will soon be available for:
• Private sessions
• Small group training
• Kids & teens Muay Thai classes
• Adult classes

Great week down at the AIS for the elite women’s Commonwealth Games selection event, alongside the 2026 Australian U19 selection event.

Huge thanks to Boxing NSW for the opportunity to be part of this trip. Being able to learn, observe, and spend time with such high-level coaches is an incredibly valuable experience.

Thank you as well to all the amazing athletes involved. The professionalism, respect, and culture within the team made the week even more special. It’s inspiring to see the standard being set both in and out of the ring.

Looking forward to taking so much of what I’ve learned back home and continuing to grow as a coach.

• Technical development
• Skill-based drills
• Building confidence
• Improving ring awareness, footwork & positioning

Coach Nudge is returning to The Ditch to deliver a high-quality boxing camp designed for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced athletes. Each session is structured to help you sharpen your technique, improve your movement, and elevate your overall performance.

Sparring is not compulsory, and all training will be tailored so everyone can work comfortably at their own pace.
