GUESS THE SIZE PRIZE!!!
Corey and the boys pulled this fish out of a massive bust up off Batemans yesterday arvo at 5:00pm and finally got it in the boat at 10:00pm, 5 hour fight on spin gear. Ohhh the pain of spin gear. The average fish out of here has been a decent 40kg plus. I saw a proper one yesterday and lots of 30’s as there are some smaller fish and albacore moving in. It was another great day yesterday with plenty of fish being caught, but the bite is way less intense than it was. Anyone who has missed out here’s your chance to win some Shimano Merch, stickbait, hat, clothes etc. This fish hasn’t been weighed yet. Its on its way to the weigh station right now some time away, so there’s plenty of time. Whoever gets the closest weight of this pictured fish wins.

Good start to the week with the fish quite spread. Catching them from the shallows to the shelf. Had a mad arvo bite yesterday in 30m of water out the front of the bay, Malua and a bit further south. Here are some pics from today and young lad Jai from Sunday. 🐟🐟🐟

Batemans Bay. Wrapping up another day. Plenty of fish caught, but the volume turned down a bit. We had some inshore madness the last few days and that action receded offshore today with fish east of the Bay getting caught wider and fish closer to shore were caught further south. Bust ups all over the ocean slowed up a bit and the majority of them seemed to be in the cooler 16.5 to 16.4 degree water on the other side of the temp break.

Batemans Bay. Tuna one day, Tuna the next.
Another day of mayhem. Looks like a tonne of the action happened first thing in the morning. There were fish throughout the day, but the morning was the best of the bite. Conditions look comfortable tomorrow all day. The best of the bite has seen morning bust ups continuing into the tide change, then a spell until the next tide change. The fish are naturally flighty and even more so in the shallow water.
