Batemans Bay parkrun

Batemans Bay parkrun parkrun is a free timed 5km running/ walking event, which takes place 8 am every Saturday. Start from Rotary Park near the Batemans Bay Marina on Beach Road.

This is a double loop course with surfaces including grass, concrete and bitumen. Head west out of Rotary Park on the water side of the Spinnaker Reach building and join the cycle path heading in the direction of the bridge. The first turnaround point is located on the waterfront walkway at the first jetty. Head back along the cycle path towards Rotary Park and enter the park to the left of the Spinnaker Reach building. Run through the start line and straight ahead towards the Marina break wall. Turn for a second time at the cone near the end of the break wall and re-trace your steps to the start line where you will have completed 2.5km. Complete the loop once more to finish the 5km.

Our new shelter provided by the Eurobodalla Shire Council a great site for a group photo. Thanks again to the Council.

May be hard fitting in a photo of our 300+ runners during our Xmas peak season!

A lovely morning for today’s 474 event

A special feature of today’s event was the use of our brand new parkrun shelter. A big thank you to ESC and Tina and her crew. With our parkrun numbers increasing every year, it’s great to now have a shelter, tables and benches.

There were 93 participants with 20 first timers
